Nice jump, and good to see what the suspension does. Not bad. But not full send. Like someone else said full send has to be going up something slight to really get some air. Cool that you found a good spot to get some air, and looks like fun! (y) 🍻
Badlands and Sasquatch come with the M210 front end, anything with a factory front locker is M210. Additionally, Spicer has an M220 front end (FDU they call it) coming out as a bolt in replacement for the Bronco that they are calling a D44 FDU. The M190 and M210 are 29 spline CV axles, the...
Truthful article, I don't see it as negative. Not sure what you mean by being careful with our Broncos because people are watching us. Run 'em! Who cares! :ROFLMAO:
Yeah, same with Jeeps. Some say they are comfortable with no sway bar, but most aren't. My Jeeps have sway bars. People posting on the internet have a wide range of acceptable standards. :giggle:
I'm wondering with the Bronco IFS, and stock or near stock height, how it will drive with no sway...
We have a saying in business, and in management. "We can't make decisions and policies based on the exceptions, there will always be exceptions." Sure, I agree with you, adding 37's and showing rock scrapes all over the bottom of a Bronco likely won't get your bent steering tie rod covered under...
Would be curious to know if a higher rate front spring, with the bypass shocks, would still give a good ride but add enough stiffness to be comfortable without the sway bar. Lots to learn.
Any interference with the end of the sway bar and the CV axle boot? I had heard that this might be a problem. I guess it matters how the sway bar gets held up. Also, I think this might have been in reference to disconnecting only one side.
Awesome! Glad it worked out. Just speculation here, but I'll bet the sales manager got a hand slap. Also, when I was a general sales manager and a general manager, and now as a repair shop owner, I will always say that a lawsuit doesn't matter to me. The point is that, just like in this...
Not surprising, unless you've studied it or are in a business where you become familiar with it, but lots of people posting in this thread have little knowledge regarding contract law. Contract law has a very long and even ancient history. Parties involved in an agreement can't just do whatever...
The M210 is still 29 spline. Still RCV says their axles are good up to 40's. The RCV M210 axles are 300m, and 300m axles are roughly 20-25% stronger than 4340 performance axles, and will be even stronger than stock axles. Don't know how much more usable movement, if any. Spicer is also offering...
Now you just have to hope that he reads it. Email is good for a record of what you've said, but I'd be on the phone with him. And I'd be calm and seeking his help to avert a potentially difficult situation. I'd also assume (in the conversation) that he doesn't know what his sales staff are...
Sales mangers are a dime a dozen. And can be greedy in some dealerships. The store will have a general manger and an owner/dealer. If it's a single point, or maybe a couple of stores, there will be a dealer who owns the place. If it's part of a big group, there will be a general manger and an...
Have you spoken to the owner/dealer? Some greedy sales manager may be trying to pull a fast one that the dealer isn't aware of and likely would not approve. I'd highly recommend going to the top, and confirming your deal and that you're an attorney. I'll bet they back down quick. With a signed...
The second video, the red F150, is what bypasses will do, which is what the Bronco already has with the Bilsteins. Don't know how good they are yet. Would love to see video of a Bronco doing the same thing. Somebody PLEASE? :giggle:
BTW, don't really need a D60 in the rear unless going to...
What we really haven't had discussion about yet (I think) is getting more travel out of the stock height. That's what I'm going to want. If arms and axles can handle more angle, then more down travel is available at stock height just like if it was lifted. More travel for speed, and more...
This subject is open to a ton of various opinions. We had a good discussion at Off Roadeo Las Vegas about tire pressures. They had cut a number of the Goodyear tires running them at normal road pressure of 35-40 psi, so they tried (had to get Ford permission) 25 psi with much better results. The...
Wonder what they do for the rear. Looks like really good parts. Nice.
Also wonder how much better the King or Fox shocks are than the Bistein PSD's for short runs.
OK, sorry for piling on. Like I said, and I meant, thank you for bringing this to our attention. My bagging on you was relating to the getting a new tailgate comment and design expectation comments. Thanks for the report and the info. The whining part of the report is going to get some...
