These APG's weld-on pivots are custom chromoly tabs positioned forward 3-4" from stock for optimized anti-squat and pinion angle control under torque.
For these components they should be their own design and not off-the-shelf. The design is specifically to minimize axle wrap on launches/jumps...
Nah, I wouldn't consider a Bronco DR. It has a body lift, which seems odd (presumably to either fit the Coyote which seems unnecessary now given the other V8 conversions that are happening, or to fit some other suspension components).
More importantly, I still desire a street legal vehicle with...
Sorry I'm lumping more than just shocks into "suspension" in my comments above. APG is doing cycle testing with each corner as shock towers, shocks, control arms, brake lines, sway bar, etc assembly progresses. There is more opportunity to address clearances now than my previous setup which is...
+1 to the comments on stronger components that come with Braptor.
Regarding tire rubbing:
Previously, with the Hyperco coils I was running with the APG fenders and 40" tires, I would only have rubbing in the inner front fenders when hitting jumps at 50+ mph (we're talking jumps, like all 4...
When I first put the 40's on and since the Braptor came stock with 37" tires and 4.70 gears, it allowed to increase the tire diameter I think to 38" or so (it's been 18 months since I made that change, so can't remember the exact value).
The math on 40's and 5.38's will equate to a slightly...
I still have the Raptor badges!! 😁
Ride won't be the same as a standard Bronco, not by a long shot. As for ride quality, I'm very interested to compare the new suspension setup vs. the Fox Live Valves that come with the Braptor from the factory to see what ride quality & performance...
I get asked this a lot but I didn't buy my Braptor new, so I've never felt bad about modifying it. Now that used Braptor prices are even lower I think more folks will do suspension upgrades, a V8 conversion, or both...so it's perhaps less of a concern vs. a couple years ago. I've spent more...
This installation is far along so I wanted to provide an initial post and to keep this updated for those interested in upgrading the suspension of their Bronco Raptor to the APG ProRunner Syspension System. This is being installed on my heavily modified Bronco Raptor with a Godzilla V8...
All good - can't wait to see the results and what types of clearance issues you have, if any, with the rci fuel skid. Just don't ghost us and not provide any updates!!! 😁
For reference, this was my Whatsapp dialogue with them (the guy's name is Shawn Ma) about the larger tank to replace the OEM tank, trying to get dimensions:
"The installation positions and heights are almost the same, but there will be a huge difference in their appearance."
When I asked about...
@rayofsi following to track progress of your install, but am curious which skid plate system you use?
I was also looking at this larger tank, but am not sure the Next Venture Motorsport skid plate system will fit around it. I chatted with them on Whatsapp but they were not able to provide...
Oh man, thanks for sharing this. This looks like the 511ci stroker kit from the above Facebook post:

700 lb-ft at 3000 rpm must feel amazing!
I'm not a dyno expert, but it is a Dynocom (not Dynojet), model looks to be 15000 based on this picture:
Which is most likely an older version of this 15000 model on their site: https://dynocom.net/product/2wd-15000-series/
The dyno results are what they are: same day, same tune, dyno pulls...
FWIW, I have the 74Weld rack, no clunking issues. Install date was April 2024. It has over 10,000 miles of crawling, jumping, and street driving on it to date running 40" Nitto's.
Continued from above post from me:
Dyno Results chart from the Dynocom dyno at 5Star Tuning.
Blue line = 40" 130lb tire/wheel combo
Orange line = 37" OEM tire/wheel combo
Heavy tire/wheel combos can be a killer on your performance gains, plan accordingly in your builds!
7/30/2025 Project Update:
New Dyno Results are in
+47 horsepower and +26 LB-FT torque improvement at the wheels vs the first dyno run 2 months ago.
443 horsepower & 492 lb-ft torque at the rear wheels on 37" OEM tire/wheel combo
420 horsepower & 483 lb-ft torque at the rear wheels on 40" 130lb...
This is going to be a slick setup as he's going to repurpose the auto start/stop button to function as the sway bar 30mph override.
So, still disengage the sway bar like normal on the top dash controls, and then separately have the auto start/stop button function as the override for 30mph+ to...
