If you have like wax stuck or some type of white mark residue I use “mothers back to black” black plastic trim repair. I spray it on leave for 10mins and it gets rid of the wax that’s stuck there. The car wash I use when I’m at college uses wax in their soap so it gets a little annoying.

I had this problem and I couldn’t figure out why. I found out it was cause when I took my hardtop off I used the shorter screws on the roll bar is instead of the long ones. After I noticed swapped the bolts and I’m doing good now.
