This is the notch I ran the wires through

It looks like you’re going under the cowl rather than through that notch which could be keeping it from coming down. Mine kind of goes from the top of the notch. It doesn’t sit super tight against the windshield anymore. Its 7am so sorry if my pre coffee brain confuses you

I’ve been able to fit 2 wiring harnesses and a third backlight wire in that little notch in the cowl. It’s tight but it works. Do you have a pic?

I guess the question is what happens if you exceed the rating on the hinges? Everyone says the stock hinges are rated only for 133 lbs but I have like 230-250lbs of weight on my hinges and it’s holding strong with a Hammer Built tailgate reinforcement… no sag, no crunches, no flex

I see. I think the issue would be the r&d and having to build completely new lights and housings for a one off vehicle. Makes me think china would be the only ones willing to do that

His looks the same… that part of his pic that you circled is passenger side and in your pic you circled the driver side. Both driver sides look the same to me
