I'm aware they're stronger. I'm also aware of how much less attractive looking they are (no offense meant). I get function over form, but I've never needed my roof bars to bear more than standard roof top ones can hold. I just can't stand the look of the ones that don't mount to the actual roof...
So glad Ford made those mounting spots above the windshield and on the the roof rather than below the front windshield and on the rear body above the tail lights. Roof racks look infinitely better mounted to the top of the rig and not hovering above it.
This confirms my dislike for the white top and my hatred for the white flares even more. The white highlights the already dumbo, oversized look of the Sasquatch fender flares.?
That carbonized gray though!?
The Rapid Red is also making me feel something... spicy. ???
You’re probably right. They sell too many 4Runners to ever get rid of them, and they run the risk of cannibalizing their own by recreating the FJ again. I’m curious of their sales numbers for 4Runners during the FJ Cruiser run. Maybe I’m wrong. Could be a market for both. The 4Runner has become...
Wow. That would be amazing. Like @zaki said though, I can’t imagine them just up and getting rid of that beastly luxury 300 entirely. I mean, that thing starts at $85k and I see them all the time around town so there is apparently a market for them. I see way more 4Runners, Tacoma’s, Tundras and...
Wife has them in her Subaru. Only real value is to dimly light your vehicle so no one can, in theory, surprise you when you get to it.
I mean, if you get those higher end packages, most vehicles have intelligent locks that unlock your door without having to activate your key fob anyway, so you...
Curious why you say the Toyota would be more than a comparable bronco? I recently built a loaded TRD Pro Tundra and a comparable Ford FX4 Lariat and the Toyota was more than $8k less and came with an exhaust system, and fox suspension.
I find that Toyotas are somewhat reasonable on initial...
The Bronco is going to be amazing. No doubt. But I’m honestly not sure I’d choose it over an apples to apples, “Toyota did the old LC justice” new model FJ. I’d have to test drive both.
Sadly that isn’t an option. But luckily, the Bronco is actually a real thing we all have a chance to buy and...
I'd definitely give it a serious look if Toyota did as good of a job as Ford has with the Bronco. Like I've said almost every time I post on this forum, I'm a Toyota guy, but they are boring (albeit insanely reliable). If they gave a new FJ the Bronco heritage treatment with all the thoughtful...
That is such a clean look. This video has been the only thing making me think that 35s aren't really necessary.
I just wish the Sas pack kept those smaller fender flares. The standard size look so much more proportional to the size of the rig. I imagine they'd look even better with 35s under...
