What’s the conversion rate from Australian to US dollars? That sucker is $60k
  2. 4-Door Too Small?

Sorry but, did you read the previous 10 or so pages? Should clear it up.
  3. 4-Door Too Small?

    You’re welcome.

I wouldn’t say she makes the decision as much as agrees or disagrees with it. Happy wife, happy life... “Settle” hahaha You and me both need more? ? ?

Yeah, prices for many off road trailers are double or triple 17k, which is mind blowing. There are some really tricked out trailers available though. I’ve kind of always wanted a truck with the bed removed and a trailer a fixed to the rear. Like these:

For some reason my wife is totally opposed to them as well. Not sure why but she just has no interest in them or in us owning one. I may have to make an executive override but I’m not 100% sure on what route I want to take myself yet.

I need an Overland style rig for sure. I suppose anything can be built to be an off road rig. Does that mean you should? Probably not...

You’re correct, as far as room for 1 man and a dog goes. But seem to missed that part about the rest of my family. I’m not sure about some of you, but I actually enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, even more so when we make memories on off road adventures.

Ever owned one? Others have and say different. I have no experience with them but at first glance I would have to agree with you.

Damn son. You aren’t f-ing around. Nice rig.

Your Excursion looks beastly. What engine is in that sucker?

You need to work on your imagination, mate. None whatsoever. Which is why the new Bronco is such an amazing vehicle. Ford did a great job making the Bronco a nod to the classic but modernizing it in a great way. The new Wagoneer looks like a generic big SUV with little to no nod to the...

    Yeah man. Tight for sure.

I'm going to stop by my local Ford and see what Expeditions they have on the lot. We do already have an Ascent. It is great for dirt roads and gravel. But it's not a serious off roader. Could we make it one, no clue. I think some people do turn Subaru's into really capable overland rigs. But it...

    The struggle is real.
  17. 4-Door Too Small?

Agreed. It’s weird but I feel like the 4xe Wrangler which was officially released today really does steal a lot of the Bronco’s clout back. They already sell a diesel Wrangler and now this hybrid. Specs sounds pretty amazing actually. Certainly puts the numbers from the Bronco to shame and...

Believe it or not we’ve considered those as well. You can price yourself out pretty quickly on them though haha
  19. 4-Door Too Small?

Very nice. It’s cool to see how many more manufacturers are jumping into the field bringing costs down and giving us options.
  20. 4-Door Too Small?

That would be cool to see a bigger but still purpose built and really capable “super Bronco” on the Raptor platform. Something akin to the Jeep Gladiator in wheelbase and length. Those are still super capable off road. The Power Wagon is one of the best deals around in my opinion. Especially...
