General question for anyone, especially @MRTperformance, what kind of sound difference is there between the turndown tip and the regular tip? Is one louder than the other (either inside or outside the vehicle)?
Did you end up getting the Elite? I currently have the Steeda exhaust, but I'm considering replacing with the Elite. I'm interested in hearing feedback from someone else who's made that switch.
I installed the Perimeter Plus alarm on my Bronco, and I get the notifications in the app when the alarm goes off. When this happens, is it possible to dismiss the alarm through the app (from locking/unlocking the vehicle)? There are times when I'm confident the vehicle isn't actually in danger...
I received confirmation from RCI that the 2-door rack shouldn't be used with just the rear half installed. One thing I wonder is whether running the back half would be possible if the side molle panels were also installed. This seems like it might secure the rack enough to let it work. Maybe...
Sorry for reviving such an old thread, but I'm wondering if you ever found a solution that worked for you. I was planning on using 1/4-20 carriage bolts with my RCI rack, but now I'm worried it won't work.
Itās not the straps Iām looking for, actually. Iām trying to figure out whatās the best anchor points to attach the straps to. Thanks for the suggestion, though. š
Iām looking to get some tie downs to use as anchor points for strapping things to my roof rack. I saw RCI makes some specific for their racks (linked below). Theyāre substantially more expensive than the generic ring t-slot anchors Iāve seen on Amazon. Are they likely worth the cost premium, or...
If the mat is bolted down, would you need to remove the bolts in order to access the storage area? If so, then I vote for Velcro. If not, then I definitely vote for bolts.
How difficult was the installation? The biggest ting that scares me about all these reinforcement solutions is the possibility of the tailgate coming out of alignment and not being able to line it back up again.
Now I'm starting to even question whether my current setup of the tailgate table and the BD spare tire is going to cause me problems. I believe my spare tire is around 74 lbs which would make my current total at around 98 lbs.
I'm wondering how much extra weight can be added to the tailgate before some sort of reinforcement is needed. I currently have a IAG tailgate table installed, and I was considering getting some sort of solution that would allow me to mount two 2-gallon RotopaX water containers to my spare tire...
Thank you for the reply and clarification on the root of the issue. I've reached out to Bronco Nation with photos of what I received, and I'm waiting to hear back from them.
I ordered a Half Rack w/ Pak Rax for my 2 door a little over a month ago from Bronco Nation (wanted to take advantage of the 10% discount). I need it for a trip I'm taking at the end of the month. It took longer to ship than advertised, which made me nervous, but it arrived yesterday. The major...
My dealership refused to file a warranty claim, unfortunately. They claimed that the issue was the fact that I have my a-pillar wires going through the gap in the corner of the cowl (where theyāre supposed to go), and Ford considers that the vehicle being modified (which voids the warranty)...
I have the SPV parking light harness that allows the amber backlight on my Rigid light pods to turn on with my parking/marker lights. One thing I noticed is that the backlight isnāt on with the DRLs. If the headlights are on, the backlights turn on, and they also come on when I unlock the...
Just to clarify, if you make it flush with the rear seats, that would mean it would be 0.71ā shorter than the 4-door version? How much would that limit the capacity of the drawer portion of the product?
Iām looking for something that will allow me to attach tools and other items to MOLLE panels (like Quick Fist clamps), but will be lower profile when empty. Iāve got side MOLLE panels in my cargo area. Occasionally I need the full width of the space, and end up having to remove not only the...
