  1. Request: Badlands with leather interior

I would STRONGLY suspect that you aren’t getting washout floor drains if you opt to upgrade to leather and carpet interior
  2. Extended Warranty For Bronco

no gotchas on Ford Protect that I can think of. It’s legit. Either the part is covered on the policy or it isn’t. They occasionally send out an inspector on a large claim but rarely. Occasionally might ask for proof oil change receipts if your engine blows up and looks sludged etc. normal...
  3. Extended Warranty For Bronco

nothing in life is free. These types of warranties are frequently just an advertising ploy. Sounds like it worked in your case. these free warranties are often full of loopholes and such to avoid paying claims. Ex. ALL service work must be performed with selling dealer and on schedule...
  4. Video: White Wildtrak with white painted hardtop and painted bumpers

“You won’t find one as nice as this” “rare discontinued hard top” lol. Friggin used car salesman.
  5. Love parking next to Jeeps

    lol. idk. bored i suppose.
  6. Love parking next to Jeeps

you claim that the Bronco design is the same as a Miata of all things and imply that it’s just another suv or crossover! I’m aware Jeep is in the title of the thread. I asked why YOU are here in a Bronco enthusiast forum with a Badlands badge in your signature talking crap about the Bronco...
  7. Love parking next to Jeeps

are you suggesting that Bronco and Miata suspensions are “the same” because they both have control arms? 🤣🤣🤣. Give me a break. 🤡 By that logic a Bronco or Jeep is the same as any other car/truck because they all have 4 tires and a steering wheel.
  8. Love parking next to Jeeps

if Jeep is such a “superior” product then why are you guys here again? just to be sh#tbirds and trolls?
  9. Ford Senior Master Tech Here (w/ Bronco Ordered). Have Questions?

Agreed. Synthetic oil flows faster at cold startup and can withstand higher stress and heat. It is simply better quality oil. Keep in mind we are also talking about turbocharged engines. Turbos create extra heat and stress as they are lubricated by the same oil. There is little question...
  10. What kind of deal would you ask for if buying a dealer loaner Bronco?

with all due respect. It’s a modern vehicle with an oil pan freshly filled with high quality synthetic blend motor oil and not an antique car. While your points are in theory kind of true, Normal operation of the vehicle a couple of times a day for 6 months simply doesn’t qualify as “abuse”.
  11. Ford Senior Master Tech Here (w/ Bronco Ordered). Have Questions?

He’s a mechanic at a local dealership, not an all knowing Oracle that can predict future events.
  12. What kind of deal would you ask for if buying a dealer loaner Bronco?

Thank you for explaining. That stipulation of the item being damaged/used or not being presented "as advertised" is logical. It just never made sense to me why it would be in a seller's interest hold an item for someone (while missing out on any potential opportunities to sell said item to...
  13. Dealership mark-up question

that is entirely up to your local dealer. There are fair and honest dealers and then there are scumbag dealers. I don't love ADM's, but I can't blame any seller (dealer/private party/other) for trying to get top dollar for the item that they are selling. An item's "value" is whatever someone...
  14. What kind of deal would you ask for if buying a dealer loaner Bronco?

Sorry to say, but it’ll most likely be in someone else’s driveway who didn’t mind paying MSRP or more. also, honest question: what is the point of a deposit if it is refundable? It would seem to secure absolutely nothing.
  15. What kind of deal would you ask for if buying a dealer loaner Bronco?

Why would it be beat to hell? who is mistreating mannequin Bronco’s? I don’t doubt it could happen, but I suspect MOST of them are receiving short test drives in town a couple miles or less at a time. My local dealer just has theirs on display in the showroom for folks to look at. No abuse...
  16. Ford two piece lugnuts on the bronco?

If it was Ford Protect / ESP then lug nuts are not covered. Most likely your dealer just adjusted the price to make it look like you were paying your deductible. This is not necessarily bad or shady because ultimately you left happy and if they had told you "not covered" and charged you full...
  17. My husband @elmystico is now riding with Albert too....

just a reminder that tomorrow is never guaranteed to any of us. I'm very sorry to learn of your loss ma'am. Our condolences from this eclectic bunch of Bronco enthusiasts.
  18. NO Compensation for wait.

Personally I hate it when a mistake is made or something doesn’t go according to plan and as a business you recognize it, own it and apologize to the customer who then asks, “but what are you going to do to COMPENSATE me?” compensate you for what? If you want compensation I’ll get you an...
