Interesting! Good idea (if it works) to whoever thought of it! Pretty much the only option I didnāt order because it looks wonky on the door & is no more expensive to add later.
my plan was behind the spare but that wonāt work. Not enough room.
UNPOPULAR OPINION AHEAD:
so hereās a question. If you had a āwidgetā for sale and the general consensus said that widgets are worth about $45.00. Would it make you a bad person if you asked more than that because you thought someone would be willing to pay you more? I mean if you could sell...
A local dealer in my town had someone buy their Wildtrak demo for $85,000.
so for every āIād never pay MSRPā there is someone else saying āIād be happy toā!
such is the way of supply and demand. Itās worth whatever someone is willing to pay.
Iām always looking for the best deal I can get too...
no, itās a way to get display/demos out there for people to see.
what were they supposed to do. Build a bunch of vehicles and send them out to each dealer with the stipulation that they can NEVER be sold?
Get realā¦
Weāve sold ours but the buyer is OK with us using it for display purposes and test drives for the 6 months until he can take delivery of it.
I had a Bestop on my ā76 early Bronco in 1994 so theyāve been around awhile.
My 2015 JKU? Wrangler had a Bestop for the factory āSunriderā (optional insulated & headliner) soft top. This top was awesome and suitable for year round use here on the central east coast.
unfortunately Bestop...
same deal for me. Rail 9.8 (friggin' love it!). 5 shops told me 250 days. Found one Trek direct store that was able to order from a pre ordered pool. I got one of the last ones available in May. Can't wait to put it on the back of my Bronco!!!
I had a 8/2 build week scheduled. schedule to date in WBDO / blend date on window sticker was 8/3.
no email yet, but my build date just showed up on the OASIS report. This normally indicates the day the vehicle was built! (past tense!) Was still showing as blank this morning.
Tracker...
Now you wait just one minute mister! This does not fit the narrative around here that Ford is staffed entirely by incompetent buffoons that couldn't make a ham sandwich if their lives depended on it and that all "stealerships" are staffed exclusively by Satan spawn. You mean to tell me that...
20 percent??? you made me snort. If memory serves, the last time I looked, dealer profit on a Ford Fiesta (a $20k car) was something like $300. Understandably the more the highly optioned / more expensive the vehicle the greater the potential profit margin. A higher end F-150 might be $5000...
Iām pretty sure your 1200 mile discrepancy would only be correct if you drove the entire 60,000 miles AT 80mph. Speedometer error tends to be greater the faster you go. Meaning at lower speeds your margin of error would likely be reduced to something far less significant. Maybe try your Waze...
this is not entirely correct. You CAN by a USED vehicle ESP (now called Ford Protect) after 3/36 and it is indeed whatever duration you pay for. Meaning the clock and mileage on a used policy starts the day you purchase the policy, itās not backdated to say 1 new.
Also, your local dealer may...
