I'm looking to source the factory charging pad for the manual transmission. Anybody have a part number or done this mod? It only comes in the Lux package. Thanks.
The amp is plug and play. The Kicker woofer requires drilling holes to screw it into the plastic enclosure. Other than clipping the speaker leads it's very easy. Forscan is the only "electronic" mod required.
I recently installed the Kicker Subwoofer and Fusion amp. It's a fairly easy (and cheap) upgrade as the sub-delete sound is terrible. As the OP said, Forscan was the scariest part but following the instructions I successfully enabled the amp.
Kicker Key 200.4 DSP amp and plug-n-play harness...
Did you listen to the subwoofer before you stuffed the port? Curious about the difference in sound? I'm going to install the Kicker 200.4 amp next week and I'll have to disconnect the amp for the DSP calibration. Since I'll be back in there I was considering plugging up the port.

No harness required, just swap out the dummy amp. Plug and play. But you need Forscan to enable the amp. There are detailed institutions on this Forum as well YouTube...
I'm still trying to figure out why Ford went to the trouble to install a faux woofer and empty amp? Is it due to crash test standards? What other reason could there be? I did appreciate the wires in place... made this a very easy project.
I installed the Kicker Subwoofer and amp today. No need to fully remove the panel in my 2 door, just pulled it back enough to remove the enclosure and replace the dummy amp/woofer. Other than drilling holes to mount the woofer the whole project was plug and play. This was my first time using...
My understanding is that while the shock is adjustable, the lowest setting adds about 1/2" in height. I plan to use the lowest as this will give it the most travel absorbing bumps.
I live in a city environment where the roads are in poor condition... I'm looking forward to a less fatiguing ride.
Today I had an opportunity to drive (back to back) a stock Badlands and First Edition equipped with the Bilstein 6112's. This difference was significant, the Bilstein's absorbed all of the chop on a heavily rutted roadway. The ride felt planted and precise with good road feel, but the harsh...

Hi... I'll have a set of Badlands suspension for my 2.3 two door for sale in a few weeks. Not sure if they work on the 4 door, but I will be looking to sell them off.
I just bought a set of Bilstein 6112 coil-overs for my 2 door Badlands. My Bronco exhibits a stiff, choppy ride on rough city streets. Based on my research the 6112 should provide a much nicer ride without the chop. Installation happens in a few weeks... i'll report back.
2 Door Badlands owner here. The lousy city streets are making for a bouncy, annoying ride. I spoke with the folks at Tire Rack and they said the culprit was the KO2 tires due to their reenforced sidewalls. Anyone swapped out their factory KO2 tires for something else?
I live in the oldest neighborhood in Seattle. Our 100 year old roads are of a panel type with joints every 20 feet. The ride is be a bit jarring, so I’m hoping the lower tire pressure will take the edge off.
