  1. TrailRax Modular Roof Rack For Your Bronco

Get these and you won’t need to remove crossbars. The price more than doubled since I bought them but a few minutes searching should turn up less expensive options. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083P685NT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  2. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

No longer an issue. The software mentioned was released early this year and deployed over the air.
  3. Ford claims flat towing our 4 mo. old Bronco destroyed the transmission (not covering under warranty)

I’ve got nearly 7,000 miles of flat towing my 2.7 liter, automatic Bronco under my belt and this includes going into and out of flat tow mode over 40 times. There have been a few times putting the Bronco into or taking it out of flat tow mode that I missed a step but caught myself and started...
  4. Any Willie fans?

One of a kind and there’ll never be another! He’s right up there in the stratosphere with the likes of Tom Petty and other great American musicians.
  5. Do you actually use your Bronco Trail Camera?

I’ve got more than 3,000 miles off road with 500 of those being jeep trails with my Bronco. Nothing really extreme, just backcountry travel in the western mountains. Before that I’ve got 45+ years (damn I’m getting old...) of driving experience. My only good use for the cameras is when I’m on a...
  6. Air Bag options for hunting rig setup?

I also hunt and on recent archery cow elk and antelope hunts in Nevada, the Bronco unfortunately stayed at home and I took my full size pickup with a shell. I tent camp but my little two door simply doesn’t haul the gear I want to take; the big coolers for early season meat hauling being the...
  7. Neutral Tow / Transmission Problem

I get that. I was responding to another contributor who incorrectly stated supplementary brake systems require power from the Bronco
  8. Neutral Tow / Transmission Problem

Supplemental brake systems shouldn’t be getting power from your Bronco, this should come from the RV, but if it does get power from the Bronco you need to install a charge line from your RV to the Bronco.
  9. Neutral Tow / Transmission Problem

Sucks for those having issues…. Makes me happy I had the shop that installed my Air Force 1 brake system add a charge line from my motorhome to the Bronco. This runs off the 7th pin of the coach’s trailer plug so there’s no additional wire running from the coach to the Bronco. I also take the...
  10. Neutral Tow / Transmission Problem

Did you run a similar test, but with the neutral tow disengaged, to determine if there was similar drop in voltage under normal conditions?
  11. What made you choose Bronco over Jeep Wrangler?

A few reasons: We needed a vehicle to tow behind our motorhome and had planned on buying a Jeep but: 1) The Bronco is cool! 2) Iā€˜m 6’6ā€ and don’t fit into Jeeps. Iā€˜ve got just enough room in my 2-door Bronco and it’s comfortable. 3) My older brother, who died unexpectedly a few years ago...
  12. Coil failure 8k miles in.

As a boat owner whoā€˜s wired a couple of fishing boats, I’d recommend marine grade heat shrink butt connectors. At least thatā€˜s what I’d use. I think they do a better job of sealing the wires and preventing water invasion than traditional butt connectors with heat shrink tubing over the top of...
  13. Car wash kits?

After trips into the dusty and/muddy Nevada back country I use a pressure washer with a foam cannon for the outside. For the inside, I open all the doors and back end and blow out the inside with an electric leaf blower. I applied top end ceramic coating by GTechniq shortly after delivery early...
  14. Nevada Baja Designs Reverse Light Mounting Bracket

    Price drop to $30.
  15. T

You asked for opinions so….. I think it’s dumb and is right up there with never used recovery boards, empty Rotopax, a shovel and a Hi-Lift jack riding around on rig full time getting ruined by the elements on a rig that’ll likely never have the need to use any of it.
  16. Nevada Baja Designs Reverse Light Mounting Bracket

Price drop to $40. Order the lights and harnesses separately to build your own spare tire mounted reverse light kit and save money.
  17. Nevada Sold: Baja Designs Reverse Light Mounting Bracket

For sale is a Baja Designs mounting bracket and hardware. No lights or harnesses are included but can be purchased separately. This bracket came off my 2022 Sasquatch Badlands and should fit non-Sasquatch models without using the included spacers. It will hold two reverse lights on the spare...
  18. Flat Tow 2.7l Electric Brake/BMS time out. NTHSA claim

Man, it’s been a year but I’m 90% sure the installer put the cap on the exhaust port. He installed it on the bumper under the winch plate and to see the controller requires a bumper cover to be removed otherwise I’d check and verify for you. I do know the techs I’ve talked to at Demco are...
  19. Flat Tow 2.7l Electric Brake/BMS time out. NTHSA claim

I just completed a 2,949 mile long trip that included 17 stops which required us to connect and disconnect the Bronco. I didn’t pull fuses the entire trip and we never had an issue getting into or out of tow mode. No issues with brakes locking up either. There we 2-3 times the Bronco didn’t come...
  20. Flat Tow 2.7l Electric Brake/BMS time out. NTHSA claim

Brakes shouldn’t lock with an active ABS system. So it seems EBB came back on and the ABS system was offline. Maybe ABS is decactivated when tow mode is enabled. That doesn’t make much sense though….
