its ok to just compress the spring in place and install it. its not super easy to do in the front but pretty simple to get it in there in the rear shock. You will need a good spring compressor though. This is a link to a low budget decent type spring compressor like the one we use...

I think so yes.

I dont think there is any ground clearance loss at all. The main skid section hugs right up on the frame cross members. it fits nice and tight.

Im not sure on the weight difference. We didnt weigh them when installing but we can do that and post the numbers later

45.5” front 45.25” rear to fender flare … 79 3/4” to top of roof on the Black Bronco Raptor with the 39" tires. that has a 2" front lift and 1.5" rear lift to get there.
