If its like the coyote 10r80 tune, all that can be changed. There are shift schedules for every mode and every scenario like coast down, coast down no throttle and they are all OSS or output shaft speed based vs RPM. If you see the tables, your eyes will cross I assure you. Its easy to make...
You arent kidding. As I've said in other threads, I came from the coyote tuning world and am intimately familiar with the 10R80 trans tuning in the S550 platform. There are more than 1,000 tables in the coyote trans section that can be changed. If you use HP Tuners to make a template of just...
All good man. When Im ready to do it, I will get with you. I used to tune coyotes including my own whipple 10r80 car. Ran 9s on e30 and a stage 1 whipple with no other mods. Car was a beast and I had that 10R80 acting right. HUGE pain in the ass getting all the TCC settings and shift...
Once people drive one with the PC on there, its usually eye opening. Its a gimmick for sure, but it really does get you in the power quicker and the perception of it is mind blowing.
I changed the pedal feels in my tunes for the coyotes without using a PC or anything plug in. People were...
Whelp after 5 hours and two more attempts it’s dead nuts straight. That sucker is so straight now I almost can’t believe my eyes. They ended up scrapping the setting the machine was telling them and manually adjusting it. Then after putting it back on the machine and wouldn’t you know, the...
Dealer attempt #1 today fail. They are saying the machine shows all green. Nothing to change. We drove it still wheel not straight. They are going to try again and set it manually.
So after looking at a video, the steering wheel is not splined but its like a nut in there. If you try to put it on and its not in the same position, it would be WAY off since it lines up in like an octagon shape. Its not possible to adjust this with removing the wheel looks like.
I didnt. My Bronco just came in and was covered in plastic when I drove it, including the wheel. It was hard to tell and I wasnt focused on it on that like 3 mile drive. As I said the truck tracks straight. So not being able to see the wheel was off was not something you'd have been able to...
Yeah that sucks major if I'd have to pay. I'd rather call Ford corp and get the ball rolling with them to get involved. That gets dealer service managers motivated usually to get something done right.
As for an aftermarket shop, I'd have to dig and find a good one.
Oh and its probably in my head, but since they have tried the alignment three times, it feels like it wanders a bit more on the road than it did when I took it in. Felt tight and good, but now it wanders around in the lane with no steering input. Has be a bit worried something might be loose...
Well.
I dont think I've bought a new car that didnt need an alignment right off the showroom floor. And my new 23 BDL SAS is no different. In all fairness the alignment is straight. Its the steering wheel thats off. Its kicked to the right a few degrees. So when you are going dead nuts...
