I've just installed my Redline Goods boot: Black with stone stitching. Looks 10 times better than the OEM vinyl. I'd like to eventually change out the shift knob for a weighted mahogany or similar knob. Perhaps in 2023 - I think @EIGHTLUG is working on something...

Mine does the same thing - happens once or twice a month on average. I thought I was brushing my knee against the light switch when exiting the vehicle so I'm being very careful not to, and it's still occurring. @Ford would be great to get a fix for this.

Those are connectors. Just unsnap the boot (once the spring from the shifter handle is removed). No glue or tape needed.

I always play though Apple CarPlay. I'll try the Siri piece the next time this occurs.
