I’m planning on buying the soft top for my two door this spring. I have to say that it appears way more complicated and time consuming than the soft top to my 4 door wrangler (that I take on/off each spring and winter).
Should be the same prices as listed on ford accessory page. If you look at some of the accessory packages that some people here were stuck with when they purchased dealer mannequins, the prices listed match exactly with the cost of those items on the ford accessory website.
If they charged...
Two regular Torx bits in my kit. The smaller of the two worked fine on the bolts to my hardtop (so not torx+). The larger of the two appeared to fit the bolts for the modular bumper but did not - needed the torx+.
If you have a hardtop or plan on having one you will need at least one...
I haven’t tried all the bolts on my 2dr but the there is a small tool bag that comes with the Bronco and the torx bit in the bag does not work on the modular bumper. It appears to fit but isn’t quite tight enough so it just strips the bolts.
I read that in another thread here and purchased a...
Going back to the rear window option - we also have a wrangler 4 door with dual/tops and I have driven many times with the rear window up and something hanging out next to the spare. I see no reason why you wouldn’t be able to do that in the Bronco with a surf board in a carry bag as a short...
Haven’t tried surf boards but just ran our skis to the ski shop yesterday. Didn’t want to hassle with putting our roof box on so did exactly what you asked about with my 2dr.
First - the seats don’t fold down flat so folding them opens things up a bit but not that much.
Skis of average...
It will be incredibly frustrating but you can find them and some dealers are willing to be flexible. So just because we’re saying that most of these listings aren’t really for sale, it doesn’t mean it’s not worth a shot checking if a listing is available and making an offer on one listed with...
A couple of people have replied and noted that we agree with you that Broncos are showing up on Autotrader, Cars.com and elsewhere and have explained why.
It’s not speculation - I spent over a month emailing and calling every listing so I can give you first hand info that very few of those...
I believe I read in another thread that the antenna for Sirius is not the antenna on the front passenger side but instead located somewhere in the back of the car. Now I can’t find that thread - so my question - I added a Yakima Roof Platform to my 2dr and now the satellite radio signal is a...
There are 1,000 Broncos listed for sale on Autotrader and Cars.com but there are not 1,000 Broncos actually available.
How do I know? I spent half the month of November and almost all of December contacting those dealers. Almost all of these dealers have their inventory set to auto list on...
I purchased a dealer mannequin from an out of state dealer. I took months trying to locate a 2dr at msrp and did find 2 but they weren’t what I was looking for. At the end I went back to one of the first dealers I spoke with who wanted $5k over (on my original call) but was ready to meet in...
As promised yesterday, here are pics of the weathertech for the 2 dr. By looks you would think they fit fine but they seem to be just barely attached in the front and move all over the place.
In the back they also fit fine but both the front and rear are very thin (as noted by someone else)...
I had to get the correct wrench to tighten those down today and then I got the platform on. You were right, it all does seem very sturdy when put together.
I will take some pics tomorrow and post (of the Weathertechs). Haven’t been in the back seat yet or even looked at them honestly - it’s hard to see in the two door. I will move the front seat up and take a pic (if it seems like there is anything to see).
