  1. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

4 door because I have friends and dogs and like space for anything I want to haul. 37 and no kids. Weird gatekeeping on “freedom”, lol. There’s hardly anywhere the extra 2 doors will prevent you from exploring.
  2. Badlands Concept Steps from SEMA

I do too, but there’s no indication that they will ever exist outside of a concept.
  3. Badlands Concept Steps from SEMA

This would probably interest you all. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/ar-stirrup-oem-rail-fitment-billet-aluminum-side-step-brongo6g-exclusive-part.26196/
  4. Had to jump down my dealer throat!!

I’m surprised I’m the first to ask why there’s a 2 month gap between you learning it was delivered and you raising hell?
  5. 2.3 Shaping up to be the better Engine?

Isn’t the 2.3 to 2.7 ratio something like 1:5? I would expect the 2.7 to have a higher reported failure number due to the overall imbalance. That said I have 3000 miles on the 2.7 and have had no issues. 1000 of those miles have been loaded up and towing things and the engine just purrs through...
  6. 3,600 miles - Should the front axles have this kind of rust already?

On all cars. Parts on my VW GTI look like this too.
  7. 2.7 Oil Change: Took 6 Quarts Not 7

So the gist is that 7 is right and ignore the dip stick? Seems like a pretty critical error I would expect Ford to address ASAP, considering the implications of the error and how many people do their own oil changes.
  8. Bronco Team Engineering Confirms 7.0 Quarts for 2.7L Engine Oil Change is Correct

So the gist is that 7 is right and ignore the dip stick? Seems like a pretty critical error I would expect Ford to address ASAP, considering the implications of the error and how many people do their own oil changes.
  9. Any week 1 reservation holders still holding the bag?

It’s only crappy because by default it searches every post. I limit my searches to threads. For reference, the first result when I searched for “day 1” was this practically duplicate thread from a few days ago: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/unscheduled-day-1-2-reservations.28727/
  10. Any week 1 reservation holders still holding the bag?

Welcome to the forum. Get familiar with the search function. There’s tens of thousands of people in a similar situation. There’s probably more week 1 reservation holders without Broncos than with them right now.
  11. Option to turn front camera on when using Park Assist?

There’s a camera button? Being able to manually enable the 360 cameras while parking in tight quarters would def be nice. My solution is just to leave the trailer assist feature on, which keeps the cameras rolling until like 12 mph or something. Of course then you have to trigger the cameras...
  12. The Heated Steering Wheel (Or In My Case, The Lukewarm Steering Wheel)

Good to know. Can seats be adjusted too? Because even the lowest setting is like a fire to me. Also, what’s the default temp setting for the steering wheel?
  13. Test Bronco offer-up

On that note, if any manufacturers need access to a 4DR 2.7L Badlands in the Cleveland, OH area, I’m around.
  14. Test Bronco offer-up

One trend I have already noticed via this forum is that a lot of interesting and useful products are held up by the limited access to Broncos for scanning, test fitting, etc. It would be cool if this forum provided a means to help out with regional manufacturers in this regard. Maybe a thread...
  15. Dealer has 300 Bronco's on order

Also dealer allocation absolutely is a deadly sin. Especially with Ford doubling down and saying they are fine with day 1 reservation holders at Granger (et al.) being pushed into 2023 while newer reservations at other dealers get built sooner. Their solution was to move the order to a new...
  16. Dealer has 300 Bronco's on order

Unless Ford is issuing commodity restraint warnings, as they did monthly (or was it weekly?) last year, I don’t think we can claim there are still deadly sins. Those constraints fluctuated with each report out, as commodities do. When I switched my MIC to soft last year, my dealer was like “you...
  17. Dealer has 300 Bronco's on order

I’ll be the voice of reason who says that this isn’t enough information to know. With the new allocation model, you may be at a dealership that will be able to fulfill those orders in 2022 due to high sales volume in Bronco Sports and such. But chances are that you’re effed.
  18. How do you know if you have the hard-top prep kit?

Does the window sticker say that it has a prep kit? Under optional equipment it will say “soft top, cloth w/ prep kit” if you have it.
