Isn't this an OEM blue? Why is anyone acting like a Ford dealer wouldn't be able to match an OEM paint color? Looks slick, BTW. Looking forward to painted roofs eventually being available from the manufacturer. I too am curious to see how these custom jobs age on the already problematic MIC roofs.

There's at least one reply in this thread from someone who got it and has a build date this fall. I had a Tesla on preorder too and got these sorts of items in the mail too before canceling. I doubt it's indicative of anything other than "Ford knows you reserved and has your correct address."

So they are selling roof mounted tents big enough for 2-3 people and then saying it can only hold 2 skinny people?

My takeaway from this is that things aren't as dire as they seemed. Lots of high end packages and even reserve dates a few days after day 1 in this batch. I've seen like 3 people in with with my exact setup, with a reserve date as late as 7/19 (I reserved on 7/20). Hopefully I make the next cut.

I've been seeing them more and more lately. Seeing the cactus grey in person made me glad I changed my order to an Area 51. The color just seems a little off.

I love the look, but cleaning will be a PITA. My GTI has a honeycomb grill and it takes me like 25% of my cleaning time to get in between all the grill slits.

Okay, this makes me feel better about my dealer's response. When I swapped from mod roof to MIC, I asked them to add the mesh bimini roof and they said that DIO options aren't available to be added to the order yet. Thought it was odd since people on this forum were reporting it in their orders...
