I didn’t get the 220K points email (7/20 reservation), but I did get 3 emails regarding the 200K points from the mod top delay. It states that the points are given when you take delivery of the vehicle and it’s only given if you do a MY21. There was no update when the mod top was pushed back to...
I drove a dealer OB with a high package and I was pleasantly surprised by the speakers on that. So I’m sure I will be stoked with the Lux package speakers.
Read the next section titled “customer eligibility” and tell me where that excludes 99ers.
The section you highlighted just states how funds are allocated to the dealers. Notice how it doesn’t say funds are allocated based on customers who already took delivery either? The eligibility doesn’t...
I'm talking about the ACC. Just tightens the dampers in sport mode to give a firmer feeling.
Also I realized I was misremembering what my 2015 had since I've had mine left in my custom mode for like 5+ years now and never look at it. Just went out and mine (manual SE model) only offers 3...
Well, it’s not the program that’s the issue.
The program clearly states that any customer who reserved and has an order (scheduled or unscheduled) or has already taken delivery is included. A 99 order on a reservation is still a customer who qualifies.
It’s weird that disbursement to dealers...
I wonder if you can tweak available modes with forscan. I’ve read in a few places that vehicle modes are limited to 7 for god knows what reason. So for these models they had to axe one to make room for Baja. Wish they axed eco or normal instead.
Gotcha gotcha. Thanks for the info.
Hopefully the 2.7 doesn’t feel as sluggish in normal mode on the road. Would be nice if you could switch between aggressive steering & throttle via controls. On my GTI there’s normal and sport settings, then one option spot to set your own settings so you...
(Removed image that is apparently just hearsay and unreliable)
Looks like sport and Baja are identical except for the 4H. Traction control is off in sport too.
I’m pretty bummed about the sport mode. I felt like there was little to no difference between Normal and Eco modes. The Sport mode felt similar to the turbo Wrangler. It was zippy enough to feel capable without being overwhelming. I’d much rather that than Baja mode.
Okay this makes me feel a bit better. I only just learned that Sport mode isn’t available for the Badlands. I imagine this trick will be possible on the Bronco. The Outer Banks I drove a couple weeks ago allowed you to swap between 2 and 4 wheel in several modes.
Wait… Badlands doesn’t have Sport mode?! Shit…
When I drove the Outer Banks I kept it exclusively in Sport mode on the road because the response was so weak in Normal / Eco modes.
Anyone else wishing they could tweak some things on their order now that it’s locked in? Go figure. I’ve changed my order like 2 times since I placed it but the second it’s officially done I want to change more.
