10R60 will not live a long life with 500rwhp and 37's. At least there is upgraded clutch packs available in the aftermarket. Too bad there is not tuning support available yet. I'm not touching mine until actual tuning software is available.
I didn't see the front or rear locker buttons anywhere. Strange. Weird that it was stated that it feels sluggish since it should be lighter than a BRaptor, but engine calibration is not final yet I'm sure.
I'm interested in light suggestions too. Soooooo much to choose from and you can't really tell how bright there are or what the pattern really looks like judging from pictures that are posted. I want amber backlit ones to match but not all ambers are created equal.
No.
It's simple math.
Old tire size/new tire size X Stock Gear Ratio = Effective Gear Ratio
Congrats on the 3.22 effective gear ratio you now have.
You can switch the old and new tire size and it will give you what you should have which is 4.31's
Damn, that's pretty close to the 4.27's...
I'm lucky enough to have a 2-Door and a Raptor in our household. I absolutely love the 2-door. It has the perfect proportions, it's nimble, and it's so much fun to drive. That being said, If you have the chance/means to buy a Raptor I would highly recommend you do. I truly believe it's one of...
OBX + Sasquatch has always lost the painted flares. Ford's build & price has been known to have errors. Any quality paint shop will be able to prep and paint the flares. It'll be the same process as painting the MIC top which people have also done
You definitely need to be aware of them since you can't see the front flares from the drivers seat. The point about using the mirrors as reference is spot on. reversing is easier since you can see the rears, but you need to be aware of the where the front is if you're reversing sharply.
If you leave the shifter in D, but hit the downshift paddle it will take away gears. So, you can have it where it won't shift past 5th, 6th, or whatever you want. This is how it works in F-150's at least. Should be the same in the Braptor, but I haven't tried it.
I think the difference is how they're doing it. Tuning software for older 2.7 F-150's is much more mature. Nobody knows how IDA is "tuning" these, but I'd be willing to be it's not an ideal tuning solution.
