I wish I could say the same, but my set has grown progressively louder as I approach the 9k mile mark (following a 5k mi rotation schedule) to the point that they put the wind noise to shame above 40 mph on the grooved concrete that makes up all of the Houston area highways.
My daily driver...
That's indeed a surprise to hear, especially the wet traction bit.
Say, are your Methods 17x8.5"? I've been curious what the out-to-out size of the 35x11.5 carcass is when mounted on a 'squatch-equivalent wheel size and how it compares to the stock Goodyear Territories, which seem to be at...
Have a few Cerakoted things in the fun safe (albeit mostly their heat-cured products), and its durability is outstanding, I can see this as being a fantastic, cost-is-no-option coating
I’ve heard great things about the AT3W’s road manners, but regrettably in the 315/70r17 & 35x12.5 sizes it’s load range E only, and also one of the heaviest AT tires you can get at 73 and 75 lbs respectively.
Enjoy
The BRaptor part is listing for ~$2200 right now, I don't think they'll have trouble selling these for $375. I'd rather see a part made out of aluminum without the cutouts/bronco branding for a lower price point and lighter weight, but I'm sure someone will be along shortly with such a...
There's a few threads on here if you search. Consensus is a mild AT with good road manners that punches above it's weight off road as long as you don't ask it to do MT things. The Land Cruiser/Lexus GX crowd loves them. It's a crying shame the 315/70r17 size is load range E only.
Dang, that's a nice round sidewall if I ever saw one. Those the stock BL flares?
Stumbled across these in another thread (credit to @Rakkasan187 ), of the GY MTs with a stack of Nitto RG 315's on the left. I know the goodyears are soft compared to anyone's E-load tires and almost certainly...
BTDT while waiting on the Bronco with two kids in a midsize coupe.
The click-in/click-out newborn-sized seats only exist to lull you into a false sense of accomplishment before they graduate to those 'convertible' monstrosities. Then you get to enjoy moving your seat up till your knees rest...
Say @B Miller did you ever wind up coming across an example of 35x11.5s on a stock SAS wheel?
Would love to see if they're still at least flush with the fenders. If I was a betting man I'd say it would probably be ok, seeing as the stock 315 Goodyears sidewalls do poke out ever so slightly...
I've been doing 6k intervals, but for a modern full synthetic oil that's probably still a bit wasteful. Waiting on the most recent oil analysis from Blackstone before I start stretching it out.
The German brands are up around the ~10k mark on their OCIs without incident, and some of those...
Well, I discovered that this does not change how long it takes before turning on your automatic headlights, but instead is how long the headlight stay on after you turn the ignition off.
I hate auto high beams with a passion. Driving around any decently populated area, especially with fresh, nicely reflective road signs, is like having your own little high beam rave.
