They were definitely put back with a moderate number of ugga duggas, there were a couple bolts that the impact wouldn't budge, had to fish out the breaker bar. Retorqued them all to 22 ft/lbs in the driveway last night when I reinstalled the rings in the proper orientation.
I'm normally quite...
Well, got an answer to my own question, I let a certain tire shop chain take the rings off themselves and four of the five were reinstalled with the cutout for the valve stem in the wrong spot, which I can confirm makes it impossible to get a Haltec chuck onto the valve. Nothing 20 minutes with...
Noticed when the wipers I ordered for the 2 series came in, it's the exact same connection system as on the BMW, threw one of the old Icons on there to verify, fit like a glove
Thanks for this picture, excellent view. I actually have the D6 boards waiting in the garage for a day when I can trick convince my neighbor to give me a hand installing them. There was an Amazon listing for the boards only, no hardware, for $76 and free shipping that I wasn't completely...
Hope to be able to report on this soon, I've about had it with the Goodyears singing to themselves on the highway, needing monstrous amounts of weight to stay in balance even with regular rotations, plus their voids seem to match perfectly with the rocks that get put down at our fab yards...
I'd highly recommend a side step that sticks out a moderate amount, that will go a long ways to stopping rocks before they reach the paint. Those are GoRhino DSS in the above picture, although I wish I had gotten the D6, since the DSS' use as a step is limited with how much of the bar is tucked...
If mud coverage is your highest priority then yes. I got the regular ones to cut back on egregious rock strikes from the Goodyears and for that they have worked admirably, but mud and road spray still make it past just below the bottom edge.
Toyo does that with their AT3, the 35x12.5 is 59 lbs and the 35x11.5 is 63 lbs. The narrower tire has a bit stouter load rating (2403 lbs versus 2910 lbs on the wider tire).
Incidentally, a lot of the brand name tire shops won't put that 35x12.5 on a Bronco since its load rating is ever so...
I like that optimism, but Falken's cheap steel belts aren't very conducive to making lighter tires. Hell, the C-load 285/70r17 AT3w is freaking 63.7 lbs.
A lot of the correlation between load range and tire weight has gone by the wayside in recent years, most of the lighter 315/70r17s now are...
During my internet wanderings I found this on Tire Rack's website:
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Falken&tireModel=WildPeak+A%2FT3W&partnum=17SR7WPAT3WV2
Smart move on their part if true, there's an awful lot of vehicles coming from the factory with metric 35s and not an...
My 4/4/22 blend WT came with some variety of bolts, but they were far too short to engage both the top and bottom surfaces of the crash bar "socket," and only one bolt was present in each position:
Edit: Just a heads up to @BlankSpace when you install the proper bolts, they go in from the...
