You’ll get a warning message that the key is not detected, but the vehicle will still be fully driveable. You wouldn’t be able to restart it without the key though if the ignition was switched off.
You can always take they key with you when you get out and just lock it before you walk away...
Try using a pick tool or small flathead to pry on the inner screw portion as you unscrew it. They usually need some pressure on them to get them to unscrew. Otherwise you can just pry the inner piece out instead of trying to unscrew it.
Just want to say thanks to @WheresMyBronco for posting this. Came back from a hike today to get the same/similar warnings. A quick peek on the forums and I found this thread.
Turns out the connector going to the rear left speed sensor was caked in dried mud and dust, and while there wasn’t any...
I was also going to order these but the price was ridiculous for what they are. Ended up buying a roll of Xpel Armor and doing the lower doors myself. Has the same look and covered up all the existing rock chips and will protect against further ones.
If you’re on Facebook, join the BC 6th Gen Bronco group. People often post when they’re heading out on some local trails if you wanted to tag along. Haven’t heard about any organized group runs recently though.
That’s the one. I have a local supplier that I can get material from, so I’m not really familiar with their website or ordering directly from them.
Being an upholsterer myself, I’ve tried looking into this as well with no luck.
The closest thing I’ve found so far is a marine vinyl made by Enduratex in their Ship2Shore collection. It’s called Brushed Aluminum and has a similar look and feel to the factory MGV, however I haven’t gotten my...
That was only for 2021. You can get manual with Sasquatch now but they bake in the price of the auto trans with it. So if you opt for Sasquatch package the auto becomes a “no charge” upgrade.
To each their own, but personally the HE looks so much better in 2 door guise. Maybe it’s because of the white accents, but the extra length of the 4 door is just enough to ruin the look. More so than any of the other trims.
I believe the gate is closed overnight. I’ve only ever driven up to the upper parking lot for a hike. Don’t think there’s much for off-roading up there.
Honestly warm water and a soft rag will get 95% of stuff off vinyl seats. Any stubborn grime just use a mild cleaner designed for use on vinyl. Just don’t spray it directly on the vinyl, apply it to a microfibre first and wipe off any excess with a clean one.
Interesting setup. I hauled my 10’ kayak on my 2 door last summer when I was topless. I just put some foam padding on the top of the windshield frame & rear roll bar so it wouldn’t scratch the paint. Tied down bow & stern and threw a strap across the middle using the hardtop mounting plates by...
I used fuse taps in the box under the dash for my dashcam. Pretty sure I used ones labeled as spare that were micro2 for both constant and ignition power sources. If you have a test light or multimeter you can test which of them are ignition circuits. Personally I wouldn’t tap the #19 fuse since...
