You’ll need some channel and a couple of lags to secure it to the ceiling. I’m going to span it across two of the ceiling joists and lag it down. Should be plenty strong.

I was going to rig up a pulley system but found this on Amazon. Couple of tow straps and it should lift it right off. Plus I won’t have to break my back 😂. And at $80 l I thought that was pretty reasonable for a lift.

Did you upgrade the UCA?

Cold air sinks so ac will probably disperse more evenly.

This is my plan exactly. Already ordered the sub enclosure from my dealer and all speakers ordered on crutchfield. I was hoping to get a depth measurement first but said screw it lol. Hopefully the 8” kicker shallow mount fits.

Man if you can tell me the depth of the enclosure that would be awesome….

Ya seems like he’s pushing his stuff. Which is great but all he has to say is “hey guys I make the perfect speaker adapters here’s my link.” I mean I saw the post and bought some lol I like when something plugs in perfect like it’s supposed to 👍. Costs a bit more but I’m sure it’s worth it.

Any chance you could measure the depth of the B&O sub enclosure when you open it up?

I thought about a powered sub as well but there’s just no room under the seats in the two door. I suppose I could try to find one small enough to fit behind that panel I tore out. But I just don’t know if it would give me the sound I want.
