  1. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

Just the sub. It’s the key500.1 it’s a mono sub amp. I may someday down the road do the kicker 4 channel for the front speakers but I really don’t think it needs it. Everything sounds crisp and clear to me.
  2. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

Thanks. Ya that was my initial plan but it would have to be damn near perfect to fit in there so I said screw it I’ll get one I know fits lol. Expensive but I think it was worth it just to bypass the hassle.
  3. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

I did not. The kicker amp probably would have blown the B&O lol. Seriously the B&O sub weighs about 1/4 of my kicker sub. The magnet if you can even call it that is tiny.
  4. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

I have a picture with the panel installed just not snapped in all the way. I have to finish my speaker grill first and get my amp dialed in the way I want it. It came with the sub but no amp.
  5. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

Later down the road I may do the key 4 channel too. But it sounds great as is really. I may do the flash to open up the rear pods a bit.
  6. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

Here’s the part number from the box. I didn’t get into the wiring too much because I’ve seen that on the forum a lot. Power wire I ran through a plug in the firewall diwn the drivers side then crossed it over to the passenger side by the rear seats. For audio signal I tapped into both front kick...
  7. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

It’s a ported enclosure. The hole in the back was where the factory wires came through. I cut the wires and reused the plug with my wires passing through it.
  8. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

Yea the studs are there for the sub and the top holes line up with holes in the body. I think the studs are m6. And I just used some 1/4 nuts and bolts for the top holes. I did put rubber washers between just about everything to prevent any rattle.
  9. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

First off I want to thank everyone on bronco6g for all the guidance. All the threads and posts helped a lot with this install from suggestions on what speakers to use to how to pop the panels off every little bit helped. This install was full of trial and error, and trust me there was a LOT of...
  10. 2-Door Cargo Area Question

Ok my fault I have a base so mines all carpet lol. But you may have to remove it and reinstall it so the lip is where it’s supposed to be.
  11. 2-Door Cargo Area Question

I’m not sure what I’m looking at? Is that a cargo area protector or the floor? I thought that part was carpet

  13. Pennsylvania Wtb: b&o hidden subwoofer box

That’s probably going to be a tough find right now. I ended up ordering one from my dealer for my base. $325 and yes it comes with the garbage B&O sub lol.
  14. Hard Top Hoist

Will probably end up mounting it in the attic and cutting a hole for the hook to come through if there isn’t enough height.
  15. Hard Top Hoist

I posted this on another thread the other day. $80 on Amazon. Should get the job done and still a lot cheaper then most top specific hoists out there. Just need some long tow straps and some Chanel to mount to the garage ceiling.
  16. Adding a amp or powered subwoofer

Went with the kicker 47key500.1. Has LOC built in. Working on install now and I’m hoping to have it done next week sometime.
  17. Fix to stop MIC hard top popping sound issue [how-to DIY video]

He acts like he has to take a flame thrower to it to shrink it lol. I’d hit it with a lighter just to make sure it didn’t pull off. Good idea though. I’ll probably throw some on my pins just to prevent any noise.
  18. tips on securing a price?

this exactly. And if they don’t agree to MSRP walk away and tell them you’ll order your bronco somewhere else…
