I get 19 (not sustained) with no tune if you believe the gauge. (Intake, charge pipes, exhaust, intercooler, and a stage 3 54mm turbo from crpengineering that’s a paperweight since no one can figure out a custom tune for the 2.3l or a downpipe) coming up on 2 years of places developing a...
Yep living in Florida I wouldn’t even think of making a claim for the windshield, due to our already ridiculous rates. Would be more cost effective to repair it myself or pay $900 out of pocket
You’re referring to the pin strip down the side??? I believe @StickerFab or @Underground Graphics has what you need and it’s not 1k. Also depends on where you live, I opted not to do ppf or a wrap due to the sun and heat where I live.
I had to have my passenger side cable replaced due to wind noise and the tension not being there when closed. I could lift up the top where it meets the roll bar. If the middle is latched, the windows are installed correctly then this is what I would look at next.
Your window motors need replaced. Just had mine replaced on my driver front and rear and the problem is no more. You should only have to do the reset process once and if the issue comes back then your dealership needs to replace the motors.
Ford has to be able to prove the aftermarket product caused the failure they won’t warranty. The tune is either installed correctly or it won’t work on the vehicle.
My OEM soft top side windows are cracked where the plastic piece secures by the rear doors. Ford doesn’t sells these separately, which is really stupid. I’m looking for the side windows or an entire assembly to replace my broken ones. Sw Florida area but willing to drive a few hrs
I’ve had these problems and here is how to reset the window module. Push the start button to put the vehicle in acc. Hold down on the window for 10 seconds, up, and then down again (all for 10 seconds) it should reset the windows. If you still have the problem then the window motor needs...
It’s not a Land Cruiser but we can hope. I think the engine can go over 300k miles, I would be much more concerned with the electronics/modules and the cost to replace/repair those when needed
It’s 10 second up,down,up in acc or whatever the newest term for on but not running is. This may work in the short term. If you keep having this issue you will need your window motors replaced. Just had the 2 on the driver side replaced bc of this same issue.
I was dumb and got the extended warranty from ford when I purchased so doing my own oil changes and tire rotations negates what I get for free from ford for 6 years along with everything else. The blown motor comment was for the op who had issues from the ford techs not doing their job. If I did...
