So I just did the editing, my bronco is the white one.
Owner of the Cyber Orange had the insta360 with a pole mount and he basically made a custom mount on the driver side trail sight and fitted the pole to that. Its quite sturdy and great angle.
He had a few different mounting spots, Ill ask...
Thanks.
Engine temps usually around 100 to 120 max. I usually let it cool down when it hits 120ish.
Transmission temps around 100 to 115 max.
The car does tend to overheat if you keep pushing hard as you need a lot of power/torque to get up the steep dunes but its managable.
Last weekend we had nice fast paced ride on some of the medium size dunes out here in the UAE.
Very impressed with the Bronco performance generally once its dialed in to run in these specific conditions.
Unfortunately the camera battery died towards the end once we got into some more extreme...
Very cool video, thanks for the tear down.
I have a question for those who are more techinically sound on the matter.
After a couple of jumps, I have noticed a very slight bit of play coming from my steering wheel. Mainly felt when going over speed bumps once in a while. Never really feel it...
Damn I'm sorry to hear that.
From my experience and others in our local bronco club, I can add a few points below that may help.
Firstly, you are not the only one who has experienced this. We have another member that got the prerunner kit and it was absolutely terrible on the whoops. That...
What everyone said above..
Low tire pressure (10psi)
Sand mode or Baja mode (4H mainly but 4L when you need more power), make sure to hold traction button and turn off ESC.
Rear lockers usually can remain off (Very situational or if you get stuck)
What we do out here for maximum effectiveness...
Are these adjustable if i have a kings suspension system and my car is lifted?
Currently I have cracked the boots and have some light damage on my stock links. My car is lifed around 3inches with Kings and UCAs. Looking to replace with something a little more heavy duty and something that can...
I don't think it's to do with overheat because it happens really quickly and I've put the car through alot of heat trust me 😅
I would assume it's more to do with wheel speed sensor as mentioned above.
I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure the fuse box is the same for all our cars. The ABS...
You're welcome 😁 it made a massive difference for me as well..
I have no idea what fuse 28 would do. Don't think I will try either, this seems to do the job for now.
Honestly, its quite common out here in the soft desert sand. Doesnt matter what GOAT mode you are in, Baja mode or Sand mode.. If you get stuck, and just keep giving throttle trying to get out (where you end up digging in more) turning left/right, it triggers this. Ive seen it happen to others...
This has happened to me before and quite a few people in our Local Bronco Club..
It tends to happen when we get stuck in soft sand and are pushing too hard to get out.. Not sure why exactly, but this just triggers the car to disable GOAT modes, however I have not had the 4x4 system itself...
So its pretty simple, just pop the hood, switch the car off and close the doors.
Open fuse box and remove the ABS pump fuse (no29)
When you re-start the car, you will see alot of warning lights and messages saying that you need to take the car to service center etc etc.. Just ignore the...
