Man, this is amazing, exactly what I was looking for.
Can you please eloborate on what temp changes are like now? Before/After?
Also, request if you can kindly go into more detail on the parts and install tips.
I can see the Mishimoto radiator in the website, and i have the link for the...
For some reason, I have experience the opposite effect haha. Everytime I have the AC on (cooling) there is a significant drop in temperature engine oil temps.. Without AC it will sit idle at like 97 degrees, where as with AC cooling ON its about 87.
Here is a pic of my ride.. However, its not...
I have also noticed that temps are down slightly when the AC is on so always keep it on haha.
Here is a short clip of use case scenario. And these are the very tame dunes, others are more abusive on the car.
The issues we face which is dangerous, is that when you are mid climb, at an angle or...
This is awesome, let us know how it goes..
Summer is approaching here, so it will soon be too hot to go offroading for me atleast. Will be looking to get a proper soluition to this in the next few months before winter season.
So I have the CPE intercooler installed and it did help a bit. Ambient temp and average temp is down a couple degrees and it cools down a little quicker, however the max temps still go up when WOT climbs and when holding high rpm (4/5krpm).
Any idea on which coolers would be compatible?
Something I have noticed and wanted to discuss or look for solutions, is that the Bronco 2.7 does not seem to manage heat very well.
This is mainly in the desert when off-roading where we need to use quite a bit of power for hill climbs and maintain tourque when swtiching dunes etc etc. Manual...
Very nice, this looks great well done 👍
Would this be available outside of the US? For example in the UAE/middle east. I'm assuming we have different model ECU's here and may or may not be compatible.
I have done some manual updates with a friend who has the FDRS out here.
Would this tune...
I just installed these AC fab disconnecting links like two weeks ago and they are clunking quite a bit.. have not even been off-road and it's really not so nice.. lubing doesn't help because it's the lower link where the lynch pin is.. even with the rubber o ring.. still annoying and I...
Im looking to get the Carli Torsion sway bar for my wildtrak. I have Kings 2.5 with the RPG arms lifted about 3inch over stock running 35s.
Would this fit well and perform good for medium to high speed Desert running?
My stock sway bar link cracked and I ended up getting the AC fab one just...
Damn.. I wish I saw these thread before haha..
I've just installed mine like two weeks ago and it's making some annoying sounds.
I don't really need a disconnecting sway bar link but can anyone recommend one that is adjustable with it's length so we can have it slightly extended for lifted cars?
Wow nice man. Very cool that you went ahead and did that. Good to know.
I was actually thinking to do the same but because im living in the UAE, the shipping costs would be way too high.
Ended up finding a replacement stock hood imported from China and basically sent it to a carbon fiber...
I have noticed similar issues with Google Maps as of recently.
I have an andoid phone, so what I do is, close all apps and it seems close android auto, and the car restarts it. Then google maps is back.
I think it may be a recent update or something as this never used to happen before.
Thats right, you need to maintain speed and keep the torque high to maintain enough traction. The sand is very soft out here and it can be very dangerous at times.
When switching over to the other side of the dune, the right approach angle is very important so that weight transfer is done in a...
Just an update on the above.
I installed the BB bushing along with the RPG tie rods. The play/movement in the steering wheel is completely gone now. Very happy with the smooth steering :)
