Would it be dishonest if the dealer didn't replace the exhaust system at the same time as the engine? It is very common for blow engines to cause problems down the line with the metal fragments, fluids etc. going everywhere.

They can definitely refund you. I was looking into selling my Bronco, so I had the dealer remove all of the extras that I bought. It only takes one form and a check of the mileage.

Months later and not much has changed. The only folks that have any idea what % of Bronco engines have failed is Ford. We have absolutely no idea, and we have no way to know.

I guess for 2021-2022 Kia/Hyundai quality, CR is fine with their vehicles, as the affected ones are older models. The Bronco on the other hand is a very new disaster.

No one knows the % of failed 2.7's except Ford, it could be .5% could be 2% or more... the problem is when they are happening as early as 1000 miles, that doesn't really say much for the long term prospects for any of them.

Well, I got my offer from Vroom, edit: maybe gonna take it. The offer is about $5k over msrp, but after the taxes I paid and the ceramic coating (lol) I'll only make about a grand...can't decide if it's worth it.

They probably have some chips but not nearly as many as they planned. so some lucky few get built, the rest go rot.
