  1. Blocked by Mike Levine on Twitter for asking about early reservation holder deliveries

Man, I’m glad I don’t have his job. I don’t want the entire Internet holding me personally accountable for the entire company.
  2. Bronco likes the Snow!!

Lol I see your point. I guess my thinking was more traditional / old school maybe - 747 “queen of the skies.” - Titanic was a “she.” Would have been funny if they named it “Bill.” 😂
  3. Bronco likes the Snow!!

    “him?” Planes, boats, cars
always referred to them with female pronouns.
  4. Do Most People That Off-road Need Lockers

Correct. Without trail control activated, there is no automatic throttle intervention when the wheels are spinning in low range (traction control is automatically disengaged as Goatman stated). But with the Trail Control activated, the brakes apply to the spinning wheels to shift torque to the...
  5. Do Most People That Off-road Need Lockers

Yeah I know what it is, and I used too. I rode with the instructor, and he pointed out how the traction control is a little more aggressive when using trail control. He was right, the diff locks weren’t needed as much when the Trail Control was active. It would spin for a little bit, then the...
  6. Do Most People That Off-road Need Lockers

Although the challenge is fun, spinning the tires unnecessarily up the trails ruins it for everyone else who goes up after.
  7. Do Most People That Off-road Need Lockers

But the traction control does help in low range when using the ‘trail control’ or whatever it’s called, and it does make a difference.
  8. If you could tell ford 5 things to improve the "next gen" factory bronco update. What would they be?

7.3 with 7MT hybrid Nicer interior options with sway bar disconnect available on higher trim models. Include the tan leather concept cup holders and air vents. one touch sky roof like the Jeep solid roof option
  9. MrOzMan

    Idaho Bronco

Pretty sure I saw you driving around yesterday turning on to Blue Lakes! Nice rig. I live in Logan. Still waiting for mine.
  10. 2.3 Shaping up to be the better Engine?

The advantage of the 2.7 isn’t speed, it’s torque. Almost an extra 100 LB-ft. Better for holding higher gears / lower rpm and less turbo lag. Effortless turning of the wheels at higher speeds. The 0-60 times on both engines are pretty close.
  11. 2.3 Shaping up to be the better Engine?

2.3 won’t make it up Parley’s? What the?? Dude, I would drive my old windows 1996 Bounder with a 240hp 460 up Parley’s. Pretty sure a 300hp Bronco will make it up there with no problem at all.
  12. Update: resolved in part thanks to this community!...Dealer stated FoMoCo canceled my First Edition (VIN in hand)

I would take a ‘22 Badlands. But you might be happier waiting for the Raptor.
  13. 🩖 Bronco Raptor Officially Confirmed and Teased by Ford!

I bet it will too. But not because the 3.5 is too heavy, but because the 2.7 and 3.0 have the same block dimensions AND the torque limitations on the axles.
  14. 🩖 Bronco Raptor Officially Confirmed and Teased by Ford!

It sounds like a bunch of people here just got off a plane. Engines have shut down, but the whining doesn’t stop.
  15. Brand new bronco overheated today [Updated 8/19]

I understood your point just fine. Then I made my points, which you obviously missed. 1. Just because it was designed for something in mind, doesn’t mean it will achieve 100% reliability in that purpose. 2. Just because it MIGHT do well in one area (traffic jams), doesn’t mean it will excel in...
  16. Brand new bronco overheated today [Updated 8/19]

Presumably it was also built to have an aesthetically pleasing roof that didn’t have any issues. Anyway, crawling up Hell’s Revenge in the Summer is a little more challenging for an engine than a traffic jam on the 405, which a Corolla can handle. If you can’t see that then it’s obvious you have...
  17. Car Mom Bronco Review - helpful for parents with kids

Congrats! But the comment I left on that video still applies. Your baby will grow up and become a parent before Ford delivers your Bronco, no need to worry about the child seat! :)
  18. Brand new bronco overheated today [Updated 8/19]

The turbo RZRs often get too hot at Moab. I had concerns about the Bronco’s temps on technical trails. Ford might be better off at least offering a naturally aspirated version. 6.8???
