so you need 10 amps per those instructions. Fuse is based off wire size which is based of the load. If you care to verify they engineered it correctly, check the wire size and the total load (watts). Guessing they provided 12AWG or equivalent as its max amperage is 9.3. If they did things...
You've already seen the potential ways to prevent an overcurrent condition with winch use OR a short due to wire contact / degradation. So it's really your choice if you want to and how. In terms of solenoid use, @CalvinT has provided you the ever popular V=IR. A solenoid is nothing more than...
How many watts total for all four (or two if you just did front) on high? Resistive heaters have no inrush current so it is very easy to size fusing, wire size and relay accordingly.
I'd look at two things (in general). First, your flat tow system. Is it quality? Is it cast (if cast, I'd hard pass on using that for any recovery beyond a simple flat pull)? In theory, the flat tow system can handle the weight of the rolling bronco with minimal side loading occurring during...
replace end link, check alignment as stated above, but that's the absolute starting point to see if anything else on the rack is bonked.
I'd bet you're fine
I've done this to mine and a buddy's. It's just the turn indicator change to DRL. Will only work in drive. In park they are white. They will stay amber / on and then blink when you hit the turn stalk. At night (aka light sensor LOW) they revert to white.
Not as built - but the text...
If I look down at the winch I can still see the louver slats. It's relatively open and the large punched circles would theoretically aid in air movement. No data to support this other than I've had no issues.
I don't have any side photos handy but can post some. It does have a little bottom...
here's my redneck 2 cents - people should know if they need MORE than the ford skids. if yall's wheeling spots have decent sized fixed rocks that the bronco literally lands on, probably need something more substantial. if it is just incidental contact with crap then ford is probably fine. I...
I see in the stl file base plate is the outward facing section. Anybody know if whatever standard baseplate was likely used provided that texture that seems to match the bronco well? i've got a G10 baseplate and that won't provide that as it's smooth. specifcically got it for when printing PETG
I have the manual system. less ghosts in it i believe. however, when the fan is on the fifth bar (i think) or two less than full the fan speed fluctuates. I think it happens more in AC mode. But I'm perhaps led to believe it's the fresh air vent opening periodically which apparently is...
mine went through a phase where "turn screen off" would not work. no matter how loud / clear I said it, with no other noises to interfere. I got really used to hitting the orange button to turn it off.
