Rally mode is great for dirt roads. It's fun to pretend you're Mäkinen, blasting down the forest roads. At 60+ hills become whoops and hanging the tail out around corners is satisfying. The poise of the Bronco suspension is amazing for an off-road focused truck with big tires.
On non-Raptor...
I think it's funny how many people are offended by what others say about their choices or sports team.
I like making fun of WildTrak's in general as the sticker package, or mall crawler, because it brings out the people who are insecure with themselves and need some validation via their material...
Someone on here said they see V8 test mules running around.
If Ford does decide to sell a V8, it will probably be a very limited trim. Maybe a Raptor R. I don't think I'm interested in dealing with Ford dealerships for a limited run.
If it came with portals and 39's I'd do everything I could to...
I'd be torn between Chevy V8, Coyote, and Godzilla.
A smaller 5.0 or 5.8 Godzilla would be nostalgic!
I'm hoping Ford sells a V8 Bronco at some point. It will make it easier for people to figure out all the computer integrations for a swap.
My modular bumper has an inner skin. The factory pinched the fog light lead between it and the outer piece. I had to loosen the bolts to get the wire out.
I can't tell in this picture if that is there.
My pic only shows the damage I found.
Seriously. The only diff between base and other trims is how many lux, convenience, and appearance options Ford allows you to equip.
With the Bronco being very modular, plus ForScan and FDRS, it's not so hard to bolt on, wire, and program an "up trim" option on any Bronco.
I'd almost put the...
I have an engineer friend who has worked with Chinese manufacturers for a company making toothbrushes. He told me the same factory will run off-hours and supply the exact product to the cloners. This is after the orig company supplied the money for making the molds.
Some of these knockoffs...
Any Raptors running the course? Or are they just another sticker trim like the WildTrak?
joking... 😇 but seriously, I would like to see the Raptor on the articulation section.
yep, 10 ply description is for those of us who have heard of bias ply tires ;)
The MT MTZ (made by Cooper tires) uses a 3 ply sidewall where the 3rd ply is oriented at an angle to the other 2. Offers greater protection then orienting all plys in the same direction.
It was one of the reasons I...
I can't believe ford service advisors on here are defending a service dept who defrauded a customer by charging them for a TPMS sensor they already own.
And defend service advisors who treat customers adversarially.
FYI, your job is customer service.
And the arrogance of saying you were never...
2021: $57,610
B&P: $62,385
Almost $5,000 more for a comparable 2023 to my 2021!
Should make for less depreciation on 2021's.
At least until the economy collapses and there aren't any buyers willing to give up food for a used Bronco... :(
I'm waiting for 74Weld to release their kit before making any decisions. I think they said there will be a preview at KOH.
I want to pair portals with Icon CDEV or SDI EClick. I'm not sure I want to wait on SDI.
@V1Rotate
STTPros look like they have incredible traction off road. I really wish they made a 3 Peak snow version. I think the Mickey Baja Boss AT's are closest to that.
I've seen some vids of STTPros on snowy roads. Looks scary. If I stayed in Wilmington, maybe I'd consider them.
I didn't...
stock GY's have great traction, but appear to be less than durable. I've not had any issues, but haven't used them enough to judge.
I know a lot of Jeepers who switched from BFG MT's to BFG AT's because of very poor cold rain/ice/snow traction of the MT's in the North East. I wanted to run...
@OddBall88
Hope I'm not asking the same questions over again ;) but I'm seriously considering the Icon stage 8.
Any issues with the rear hose clamps on the lower links? Are they getting close to rocks/moving around?
Any other mods to the Icon package besides moving the rear coilover mounting...
