  1. Everglades Or Badlands?

Do you have an Everglades? Enjoy it?
  2. Everglades Or Badlands?

Sure, I could build one. But 1) Heritage edition is ugly and looks tacky to me 2)color options suck 3) interior is ugly. I feel like Ford dropped the ball on that model. Either way, appreciate the recommendation. Just know the heritage edition is not for us.
  3. Everglades Or Badlands?

Ill hopefully be driving the Everglades today to put this to rest one way or another. And do agree about the uniqueness of the Everglades. I have yet to see one on the road or at Bronco meet ups locally. Definitely a rare configuration. Which I guess that could be looked at as a good thing (no...
  4. Everglades Or Badlands?

Great to hear! The dealer is ordering it in, so will hopefully test drive it today and know better. Last thing we want to do is buy a $55k vehicle and have regrets. But theres been a lot of positive comments on the Everglades, especially when you consider huge cost difference between the two we...
  5. Everglades Or Badlands?

Kind've what Im thinking. But also, it will be my wifes daily. So at the end of the day if shes happy, I guess thats all that matters. The dealer we would be getting it from is getting that Everglades in from another dealer. So will go test drive it tomorrow to see how it compares to the 2.7. I...
  6. Everglades Or Badlands?

I completely agree. The pricing and what you get is exactly why we are considering it. You get so much for the price compared to any of the other models. Im really glad you like yours! And the one we would be looking at is the same color. Eruption green on that package is absolutely the best...
  7. Everglades Or Badlands?

Yeah, it would be right around $62 and some change. And thats if they allowed me to add the $600 slide out tailgate and the hoop steps that the Everglades Im looking at comes with. So definitely doesnt seem to be worth in that regard. And I think Ford just makes shit up with any of these models...
  8. Everglades Or Badlands?

Could not agree more! Maybe a little bit of the stretch between Murfreesboro and Chattanooga it gets a little better, but I still hate that interstate more than just about anything. Especially heading into Nashville ( I live south of Murfreesboro). And we could definitely plan a meet up to hit...
  9. Everglades Or Badlands?

Reason being is we had a Badlands on order. Also, when I build a Black diamond, with sasquatch, tow, MIC top, mid package, Roof rails and 2.7, it puts it at almost $62k. Totally not worth it and would wait for the Badlands in that case. Plus I hate the blue in the Black diamond interior...
  10. Everglades Or Badlands?

30 HP and almost 100 lb ft torque difference which can be a lot even just for offroading. Also, Everglades has sport. The only mode it doesnt have is Baja mode which I never liked in my Badlands anyways.
  11. Everglades Or Badlands?

I would be taking it to Windrock thats for sure. Just wonder how it does there. If it passes the Windrock test, it can pass anywhere  We do live by and use 24 quite often. Words can not express how much I hate that interstate!! And definitely need to drive with a heavy foot.
  12. Everglades Or Badlands?

While I agree on the saving money part, HP/Torque do make a difference offroad in a 5000 lb vehicle. Im not worried about a 1/4 mile time. But I also dont want to feel like a fat underpowered rig climbing hills, rocks or dunes. So thats been my major hang up. Also, 100% agree on the 2 door and...
  13. Everglades Or Badlands?

I listed those items because that was what we ordered cause you can build whatever you want. We definitely can live without those items if they werent on the build. The Everglades does also have the hitch. But I agree, I havent built a mid package Badlands hardtop to compare, but just found one...
  14. Everglades Or Badlands?

I agree here. I have yet to see an actual Everglades on the road. And to be honest, one of the best looking Bronco versions available overall (for a 4 door). And sway bar disconnect can be fixed pretty easy these days with different quick disconnect kits out there. So thats no issue on my part...
  15. Everglades Or Badlands?

We can live without all the luxury items even if they are nice to have. Afterall it is an offroad vehicle. To be honest, the sway bar disconnect I believe gets blown out of proportion as far as why to only get the Badlands. After owning one myself, once I got to a trail, I would disconnect it...
  16. Everglades Or Badlands?

People keep saying that about the 2.3 that it will perform like the 2.7 when it has the Ford performance tune. However, I wonder how many people were driving the 2.7, switched to the 2.3 and tuned it to really give a fair comparison. I feel like most people who say just that have only had...
  17. Everglades Or Badlands?

Kindve what I am thinking. However, if the Everglades was only a few thousand less than a Badlands it would be a no brainer to just get the Badlands. But with it being $11k less, it sparked out interest thats for sure.
  18. Everglades Or Badlands?

Agree with everything you said. I do wonder though how the 2.3, with auto and the gearing of the sasquatch vs your base model with the standard gearset feels. We also may go to 37s down the road on it. So just wonder if the 2.3 is up to the task even with the Ford performance tune. Even though...
  19. Everglades Or Badlands?

It will be used both on and offroad. That was my biggest concern was when say rock crawling around or climbing hills in East Tennessee, the 2.3 just wont be enough. Even though its only 30 hp on premium difference, I can tell you for certain there is a huge performance feel/acceleration...
  20. Everglades Or Badlands?

My wife has a fully optioned out Hot Pepper Red Badlands ordered 2024 model (Sasquatch, Lux, tow, dual tops, Raptor style running boards, washout floors/vinyl as we didnt want the carpet with the leather, 4 door, 2.7L). However, with a hefty price tag of MSRP $69k, it had us looking at cheaper...
