Mine is displaying a start up screen, its just not the rock one. Also 12 inch screen. Here is what mine looks like, and is the Bronco logo with a light behind it, that comes and goes. I checked my wifes 24 Everglades as well with the 12 inch screen and hers does the exact same thing as mine...
Im beginning to wonder if this is actually just the new change to the latest softwares on the Sync system. My wifes 24 Everglades has the exact same start up as my 24, and hers was built April, mine built September. Just shows this image fading in and out over and over again. Was yours showing...
Thats sounds so crazy to have to have the APIM (likely what you are referencing) replaced on a brand new Bronco. Not impossible just silly. I do not have any other performance concerns out of the display, just that its not showing the rock start up screen. It does show a Bronco logo that fades...
Did you ever have it replaced? Did the rock boot up screen come back? I have a brand new 24 that doesnt show the rock start up, just shows the Bronco icon that fades in and out. Just wondering if that truly is the issue or if Ford just pushed an update to remove it.
Bummer, thought it was a pretty cool start up screen. Ford continues to find things to go backwards on with their features and cost cutting measures. Yet their cost keeps going up and up...
Just picked up a new 2024, built in September. Noticed that rocks building to a Bronco screen on the 12 inch display that was on my 22 is not there, and just shows a Bronco silouhette that dims on and off while boot up. Is this normal now on the 24s now? Or are people saying its intermittent...
The way its sounding is there is no rhyme or reason to this. Doesnt seem based on year, model, trim, etc. Sounds more like on some hard tops they are just forgetting to install the felt more than anything. Great work Ford.
Has anyone else ordered and received their Bronco with the Raptor style running boards? I picked my Badlands up on Saturday with the Raptor style boards. I am just curious if your tool kit came with the right size torx bit to remove the steps. I checked my tool kit its no where to be found. I...
Mine is a High/Lux trim Badlands and does not have the felt. My wifes Everglades is a mid package and does have the felt. So should not be trim or package related.
I know longer have it unfortunately. But it had a Zone 3 inch lift on top of sasquatch. With 37x12.50r17 Cooper Discoverer STT Pros. I liked everything about it except I personally hated the perch collar portion of the lift. When you add a perch collar to the Bilsteins, they will slam and bottom...
Yeah, Im not sure which way this falls yet either. But hoping with this post more people with later build dates in 2024 chime in with their hard tops. Maybe post their build dates to help determine that. Could just be they screwed up on mine, but still wanted to bring it to the groups attention.
My wife and I ordered a Bronco early summer and was just picked it up over the weekend. While we were waiting for it to be built, my wife found a new 2024 Everglades she loved and decided to purchase it instead of the Badlands we had on order. When the Badlands came in last week, I decided I...
The body on the 2024 Explorer is actualy bigger than the 2024 4 door Bronco body. So Im not sure why youd be calling the current Explorer a replacement for a Bronco 2 when its actually bigger than the current midsize Bronco. The old Bronco 2, Explorer and Ranger all used to be based on the same...
I have an Everglades I am looking to put the E-disconnect on. Looks pretty straight forward except for one thing. Looks like the part number is MB3Z-5482-X. Local dealers around $2k for the damn thing. Online looks to be in the $1200-1300 range. I have a LOT of Ford pass points I need to use up...
I personally think there is a place for both the current 6G and a Full Size Bronco. Definitely a great trail benefit to the current 6G. But some of us who want more interior space, more cargo room, an actual halfway decent towing capacity and and maybe even a V8 would love to see a full size option.
I agree completely. Feels crammed in there for me most days I hope in it and Im only 6ft, 200 lbs. Especially if you put two 6ft tall people in the front seat. Feels like you are shoulder to shoulder in there. If only they just made the body on the 6G go full width to cover the tires, instead of...
New 6G Bronco measurements include tires and flares that stick 4-6 inches outside the body on each side, and measured length with the spare tire on the back. You can see in that picture just exactly how much bigger the body width wise is on that 1996 when viewed from the back on each. They are...
