Does not explain a raked Bronco. The WD hitch is designed specifically to avoid sagging the rear. Gee, if only I could understand the difficult geometry.
TRUCKS?! "Trucks are built to 'haul' something" -- really, that ignores (1) my question about BRONCOS, and (2) the fact that we are all on a Bronco site. The Bronco is raked (I even included a picture for you) and it is not designed to HAUL anything but people and some gear. In fact, Ford...
OK, if you say so - and that seems to be the consensus. But the rake is only 1'-1.5", so when the truck is loaded or hauling an inch is not going to make your "headlights pointed at the sky". (Maybe your trailer should be loaded so it isn't so tongue heavy).
Just curious: Why is the Bronco's stance lower in the front as compared to the rear? Ford's F-150s are the same way. Ford and aftermarket companies even sell leveling kits. But the stance is intentional, right? So why is it designed that way? I guess I should ask Levine. I think it looks...
Seeing that front end close up pic...I like those fender accessory mounts even less now (and I already hated them). Without those, that hood is damn fine! Looks like the first gen hood.
I'm sure the aftermarket will design and sell a "cap" to remove and fill the gap.
That was negative...
"Lighter than real life" - so you meant, in the pictures? My point is that indoor lights are no brighter than outdoors...IN REAL LIFE. My bigger point is that the MIC top is f-ing ugly. And, yes, the MODULAR top is black and differs from the ugly MIC top - everyone knows that (or should at...
Super bright...you mean like the SUN?! Like it will look outside while driving around?! The mic top is an ugly color gray. Ford came up short on that one. Painted black or body color matched was the goal, but they accepted less just to meet deadlines, my guess.
Exactly! And why would anyone buy the FE just to have that "special" model undercut 8 months later by the Heritage. Lame planning. Ford should have waited a couple years.
In addition to these timing changes the team continues to actively listen to customer requests and as a result we will offer a new black interior to First Edition customers (more details to follow).
Hell-to-the-Yeah! Amen, Ford, AMEN!
#navy pier is ugly
TTown beat me to it. Ford jumped the shark with the gray mic top. Two neutral colors are WHITE and BLACK. (I don't think either is technically a color, but whatever.) White has some hard-core fans. But black is at least neutral--meaning, it does not conflict with body colors. The shitty...
Boy, this sounds familiar?! Let me see, where exactly did I hear this before?? Oh, yeah, THAT'S WHAT I SAID MONTHS AGO - BRONCO EXCLUDED FROM X-PLAN.
For once I wish I would've been wrong.
I think the sweet spot is Black Diamond with Sasquatch. Nicely equipped at a fair price. Base is porridge too cold; FE is porridge too hot; Black Diamond + Ssqch is jussst right. ;)
Exactly my thought! First it was truck tailgates and now it will be fender flares. I will be figuring out a way to make those more "permanently" attached.
