I think the idea (in theory!) is that this shouldn't happen. These builds would go to customers instead of dealer stock. That being said, I will not bet against the scenario you mention, with all that has gone down already.

I received an update as well. I was scheduled for 8/16 when I called the customer care number. Last week, my dealer let me know I was bumped up to 7/20, and today's email appears to confirm it. I'm hoping this is the final update.
