I followed the recommendations from this thread. The B&O audio system includes an active noise reduction feature that uses the stock sub to cancel out noise. I changed my stock sub and had to turn ANC off. That also turned off the fake engine noise. I miss ANC, but not the fake engine sound.

Is the noise heard when coming off the throttle? If so, you're probably hearing the boost bypass valve for the first time, since the factory intake blocks the noise completely. This noise is completely normal. It's the excess boost pressure from the turbo recirculating back into the intake.
