The only impact to the added weight seems to be when I have to lift the spare during rotations. I havenāt noticed any difference in handling characteristics with the heavier Kendas and I like the beefiness they seem to have.
I put 35x10.5 17 inch Kenda klevers on my black diamond (non SAS and no lift) and they look, drive and trail ride just great Very quiet on the highway too.
I saw those covers but think they wouldnāt help if something catches / yanks on the exposed wires leading to the contacts. But I suppose anything can help the otherwise poor design
Yep. Happened to my ā23 black diamond. I first attempted a repair with the permatex kit and it failed twice. Then brought to the dealer and his glass guy tried to solder it... failed again. Then the dealer agreed to order a new glass but the one that arrived was not the right glass so after...
Dealer said itās normal behavior of the ālimiterā that prevents fast reverse acceleration. Iāve never experienced that in any other make of car but then again this is my first Ford and my first 10 speed at that so who knows? At least itās in the record should anything further happen
Lots of people get caught up in name brands which are highly overpriced. Iāve purchased cube light and light bars from harbor freight at fractions of the cost And I have had them on our family cars over ten years with no problems. Also Temu and Aliexpress have less expensive options. so if...
My BD now has Kenda klever 35x10.5 They fit and handle the trail and highway nicely. I only needed to remove crash bars they are mounted on original 7.5 inch wide 17ā steel wheels. They are 22 pounds heavier but thatās expected with the larger diameter
I think the gauge batteries die when one fails to release the stored pressure in the hoses after airing up/down. The gauge thinks you are still using it
Agree! I got the 5-10 pro with two hose set up and it takes less than 5 mins to do each side of my 2 door BD with 35ā Kenda klevers. A great and affordable setup
When I swapped my OEM 32ā grabbers for Klever 35ās my tire /wheel weight went up by 22 pounds each. Each one now weighs 96 pounds and I have to use my floor jack to raise the spare !
My 2023 black diamond with the 2.7 engine does exactly that as well. It has always been a slightly uneven acceleration and frankly Iāve come to accept it as an idiosyncrasy of this vehicle.
AGREE! We shouldnāt have to Mickey Mouse this vehicle to get the proper āford performanceā!!!!
I had a similar issue after filling up the tank on my 23 black diamond. I made the mistake of continuing to press the lover after it initially popped, trying to top it off. I later learned that topping off these vehicles can cause some sort of issue with the pollution control devices that caused...
