  1. 2 Door Rear Hardtop Bubbles/Buckling

Really... China??? I'll have to start looking for problems every week or so. That is disturbing.
  2. 2 Door Rear Hardtop Bubbles/Buckling

I've got a 2DR base that was built mid-October 2022. No hard top problems that I can see. I just went out and looked... after reading this thread. I've got about 3500 miles on mine so far (as of 08/10/2023). Fit and finish on the Bronco itself has been good also. My MO: 1. Live in Northern...
  3. Changing Muffler void warranty?

Well... below is what is on the Ford site. I guess I'd go back to an old Clint Eastwood movie where Clint said (paraphrasing).... "Well -- do you feel lucky?" And just as an aside... I doubt you'll ever get a Ford rep to OK an aftermarket exhaust that they aren't selling. See below...
  4. Will I regret not upgrading any of my build? (specifically Sasquatch)

I would get the locking 4.27 differential, but then I'd consider the Badlands package if you want to save a few bucks... but I don't think you can get a "High" package. I got a Base 2Dr 2.7 auto. I would have gotten elocker if I could have. I did put OBX tires on it. They were easy to find...
  5. Ford Extended Warranty

Well, I b ought an extended FORD warranty when I bought the Bronco. Turned the 3-year bumper-to-bumper into a 7-year 60,000 bumper-to-bumper for $2000 (I don't drive that many miles per year). If I paid too much... oh well -- too late now! Note: We here in California don't have a lot of...
  6. Ford Extended Warranty

Interesting... I noticed California was left off that website (where I am) for "choose state". I wonder why?
  7. Competition: 2025 4RUNNER news, specs, timing, preview CGIs -- via insider info

Next Gen 4runner = good 4door look for soccer moms. The end. If Toyota wants to get serious against Jeep or Bronco... release an updated FJ40 with modern suspension and engine, and keep the 4Runner for all the soccer moms (or) get closer to the design of the 1996-1998 4Runner. Bigger, fatter...
  8. How is your base bronco ride quality?

I've got a 2Dr Base 2.7 with auto. It rode just fine from 0-500 miles with stock tires, and now that I've put OBX wheels & tires on it (32s) it still runs fine with about 2800 miles on it.. No problems, and no jerks or bumps. I run 37 pounds in the tires. I had a 2016 75th Anniversary Jeep...
  9. All of the bumps, knocks & thumps when opening a door, the swinggate...

I've got a late 2022 2-Door Base and I haven't heard anything unusual. I've been quite pleased with the quality. Mine is a 2.7 with auto. In regard to computer though... it might be interesting for folks to list if they have 2Dr/4Dr, Low, Mid, or High electronics. Maybe the Mid and High...
  10. What on earth is an E-commerce fee?

$6000 is a lot of Vaseline.
  11. What on earth is an E-commerce fee?

Well... it all comes down to money. If it takes a day to make $6000 in the stock market... then do it. If not... well -- that's the question only you can answer.
  12. What on earth is an E-commerce fee?

Well, I don't know if you ever said what options you are getting on your Badlands or what the final price was... but you could always buy in CA and have it shipped there. I can't image it'd cost over $1000 over listed shipping cost to ship (when you compare CA shipping costs vs Hawaii) I guess...
  13. Help! OEM TPMS WITH ACTIVATION TOOL KIT not working

Well, that is the Ford relearn tool. I've seen that enough on Amazon for like $13.00 Looking at the URL itself it looks like the part no. for the TPMS itself is: F2GT-1A180-AB (and) F2GT-1A150-AB and does say 315MHz (141231) and also has a number (8MZJA) Summary: Seems like your TPMS are...
  14. What on earth is an E-commerce fee?

I typed into google -- Hawaii new car fees Summary: Its a ADM fee but made to sound official. I often wonder how people like this sleep at night. I didn't see anything like "e-commerce" anything. Did find this website which gives you a calculator. Seems like Hawaii cares about the weight...
  15. Help! OEM TPMS WITH ACTIVATION TOOL KIT not working

How do you know the TPMS sensors put in are OEM? Do you have the boxes for those sensors? Is that what the dealer said? Does the box have a Ford PN? Schrader sensors are supposed to be (allegedly) OEM variety, but there are two varieties: 1) Need to be programmed because they are variable...
  16. What rig / vehicle did you give up to get your Bronco?

2dr 75th Anniversary (2016) with 10K miles on it... but I made 12K on it after taxes... so it didn't hurt so much. I like a lot of things about Wrangler, but like a few more things about Bronco (2DR).
  17. Building Off a Base

So... for a Bronco Base SAS that MSRPs for $40,635... they want $57,000 or $16,365 ADM. Well... I'd never consider that. I'd find a different dealer, put in my own order and lock in the price... and pocket the $16,365. I just couldn't be screwed by a dealer like that. Goes against the grain...
  18. Question AUX switches - single switch wired to 2 relays for 2 circuits

To determine the current-draw from the coil you have to know something about the coil itself (or) assume its like any other on the market. Looking on Amazon at one selection they give the coil stats as: Nominal Coil Voltage: 12 V DC; Coil Power: 1.8 W; Coil Resistance: 80 Ω; Must Operate...
  19. Building Off a Base

I bought a 2.7 Base (2Dr) non-SAS. My out-the-door price picked up in late Nov. 2022 (includes shipping but not taxes) was $35,700 for 2.7/Auto, Aux-Switches, Floor Mats, Modular Bumper. This in NorCal (where everything is priced rather high). Basically, I paid MSRP. Now... I kind of wish I...
  20. Did I do this wrong??? Wiring Kicker to fusion amp on sub delete

I assume if you use only one wire-set... that you are getting only one channel (or) that the two channels are blended beforehand... which they could be on the Bronco (don't know). The two wire-sets really keep each channel isolated, and allows one woofer to operate with a 2-channel (stereo)...
