  1. Which GOAT mode do you use most often?

I'm still breaking my base 2dr 2.7 in with the 3.73 gearing and 30" tires. Got < 500 miles on it. So Normal is all I've used. Got 23 MPG @ 65, and 21 at 70 though on the highway (mostly), and that includes a highway climb and descent of 1400 feet. 95% highway miles.
  2. lug nuts for aftermarket wheels?

I see where McGard are American made, and Dorman are Chinese made. I'll opt for American made if I have a choice (and price is similar i.e. can afford American) and the quality is there. Thanks for the input on both McGard & Dorman... I'm learning a lot here.
  3. lug nuts for aftermarket wheels?

Thanks. I'll have to check the Dorman out... after I measure the ones I have.
  4. lug nuts for aftermarket wheels?

Thanks for the info. I noticed the CJPony URL you sent points to small-diameter lug nuts. Since I'm running OEM OBX wheels... I think I need the larger lugs. But -- the CJPony site seems to have a good selection of those to.
  5. lug nuts for aftermarket wheels?

Thanks for the info. I'm a might clueless on whether steelie lug nuts are of a different metal alloy than aluminum alloy wheels get from Ford. You hear anything about metal alloy... or is it just lug-nut depth. Note: I do tend to over think things at times.
  6. Great Dealer Sales Experience In Northern California

I've seen a lot of people having bad dealer experiences. I thought I'd post a good dealer experience. My dealer was Ron DuPratt Ford, Dixon, CA. Manager I dealt with was Ron Wolff. Its a small dealership (as NorCal dealers go). In October 2021 I order a 2-Door Base. I think that was when...
  7. lug nuts for aftermarket wheels?

I'm going to install Outer Banks Wheels & Tires on my base. Would you happen to know if the Steelie lug nuts work on alloy wheels? What did Method say? What about your Method wheels? Are you using the Steelie chrome ones? Tried to find out from my Ford dealer. They didn't seem too sure...
  8. 2-Door Side-Steps or Running Boards.

Curious about the Rough Country... are the brckets up high enough to hide the pinch welds? Hard to see from your picture angle. The TAC ones I bought are a good product and good for door protection, but they pretty much show the Bronco pinch-welds. Thanks for the info!
  9. 2-Door Side-Steps or Running Boards.

The ZroadsZ look very nice. Sadly, I'm trying to keep the price under $400. I think the ZroadsZ are listed around $900 + Tax... which would put it close to a grand here in sunny tax-heavy Northern California.
  10. 2-Door Side-Steps or Running Boards.

Was the Clamber steps you went for the "C3 Heavy Armor" steps... listed to weight about 30 pounds? Final Question: Are those frame & pinch-weld mounted, or just frame mounts? Thanks!
  11. 2-Door Side-Steps or Running Boards.

I'm looking for side-steps or running boards for my 2 door Bronco. Mainly, I'm looking for three things: (1) Cover Pinch Welds. (2) Provide parking lot door bashing coverage. (3) Serve as an actual step for getting in and out. The 4th would be serving as a rock-rail, but that is least...
  12. Ohio Looking for 2-door running boards

Do the GoRhyno D6 cover the pinch-welds? I'm looking for two things (mainly) -- cover the pinch weld and protect the doors from other cars in the parking lot. Also... does the D6 serve as any kind of rock-sider?
  13. F-150 wheels installed on 2-door Black Diamond

How is the overall handling with the F150 tires at highway speeds? Any difference noticed?
  14. Dealer doing last minute Markups on my bronco

If they signed a contract... take them to court. At least small claims court. That's what I'm gong to do if this happens to me. Just because dealers are slimy doesn't mean they don't have to follow contract law. That would be my 1st step.
  15. 2021 orders but no VIN yet. who else?

I put in an order for a Base 2-Door 2.7 with the only options being switches, automatic, and modular bumper on Oct. 13, 2021. Daughter put in an order on the same day for an Outer Banks 4-door. She had a reservation she had put in about a year earlier. Neither of us have heard squat. Ford...
  16. Who is Paying These Used Bronco Prices??????

I bought a 2-door JK Jeep for $25,000, and then sold it six months later for $40,000. I did the "right" thing (stupid thing) and paid the required income taxes on it ... because that $15,000 difference is considered ordinary income. So I still came away with like 12-13,000, and ordered a base...
  17. They are coming!

That white 2-door with a 2.7 is the same I ordered (10/23/2021). Hope mine comes soon. I would be interested in the MPG of a base with obviously the 3.73 differential. Most MPG I see is for something with bigger tires and different differential. Having said that... Ford should fire whoever...
  18. Got Keyed Last Night

How about "upgrading" and maybe installing the keypad (I see you don't have one). Maybe that'd cover the mark and give you an extra function. Looks like it might be about the right size to cover it.
  19. No VIN Yet, but cannot change items (engine in this case).

Well, that doesn't give me great hope. The only e-mail I have ever gotten from Ford was the Confirmation e-mail on Oct. 23rd that the order had been placed. Nothing else since then and I can't even use the URL in the e-mail to find the order (it goes to a blank page now). Had the dealer print...
  20. No VIN Yet, but cannot change items (engine in this case).

Well, I was thinking that maybe Ford had built it already (the eternal optimist), and therefore not being able to change the engine made sense. I thought maybe it was sitting in one of those large parking lots in Michigan waiting for some chips, a radio, or maybe a kickstand... who knows what...
