  1. Installing 35's on Bronco Bandlands factory wheels and suspension?

Yep, you can remove the crash bars and install 10.50/35s on your stock wheels with no rub. I don’t know about fitting a wider 35……I wanted the tall skinny tires and they fit great. I have the same Bronco as yours.
  2. Gen 2 MIC hardtop bubbles

Several weeks ago I went to my local Linex dealer to get a quote on having my top Linexed. He looked it over and said because my top appeared to be delaminating he would not take the job. I got in touch with my dealer(my brother)and the service manager(my neice) opened up a claim with Ford. They...

What’s up with all of the comparisons to vehicles with non removable tops?
  4. MGV…The back sweat is real, what gives?

This is why I went with leather on my Badlands. Ive been the vinyl route. MGV is a fancy name for vinyl.
  5. Hood flutter above 65 MPH

Wheel balance has a lot to do with hood flutter. I know as mine was ā€œflutteringā€ until I got new tires and had them perfectly balance.…..no flutter at all now…..big difference
  6. Question about installing a level…

Thanks! Iā€˜ve decided against a level or lift of any kind anyway. I pull a trailer and carry a bit of camping gear and certainly don’t want the rear end squatting. Ultimately it appears Ford knew what they were doing with a bit of engineered in front rake. Think I’ll leave well enough alone……my...
  7. 2.7L Oil Change Tips + Replacement Drain Plugs

There is no way that the Ronin will come loose. Just follow the instructions
  8. New oil pan needed after 1st oil change (2.7 engine w/ plastic oil pan and drain plug)

For me it’s not about saving $ by doing it myself. It’s about knowing it’s done correctly and not having oil spilled/splashed here and there. I installed a Ronin plug at my first change. Later changes are super easy and clean.
  9. MIC Top Wind Noise Poll

4dr no noise. I’ll note that I’ve run without a top a lot, but every time that I’ve reinstalled my top it has been quite. I’m very careful that I’ve made sure to realign the panels each time that I reinstalled the top.

  12. Different Engine Sound in 2.7L - Badlands vs Wildtrak

Mine does, but it also has leather.
  13. Low CG, max articulation, and biggest tire size without interference?

When I got my non SAS Badlands 4dr I had the same goals. Low center of gravity = no lift for me….probably not even a 1ā€ level as I pull a high clearance off-road trailer. Wearing Kendra RTs in 10.50 35 on BD steelies……this combo tucks up into the wheel wells at full articulation with...
  14. The 6G really isn't a rockcrawler.

Wow…..lots of crawling experts here. I’m learning a lot looking at all of the pretty pictures.
  15. BAMF Soft-Topless roof rack

I like the length like you have originally designed It. Sent in a reservation this morning for the hardtop version. Looking forward to it!
  16. Question about installing a level…

I’m considering installing a 1ā€ level on my non-squatch Badlands 4dr. Does anyone know if the lower studs can be knocked out of the Bilsteins while they are still on the Bronco? Iā€˜m going to use the Rock Krawler kit which consist of a spacer only on the lowers. There is plenty of room to use a...
  17. BAMF Soft-Topless roof rack

I have a hardtop but run topless a lot. This rack is one that I'll use a lot! Wonderful idea!
  18. BAMF Soft-Topless roof rack

  19. The 6G really isn't a rockcrawler.

This thread is as amusing as the dipstick thread.šŸ™ƒ
  20. The 6G really isn't a rockcrawler.

I’m 70. I’ve owned and own LCs(every model #), several LRs, Broncos, CJs and many, many other 4x4s…..enjoyed them all. Each had their strengths and weaknesses. I now own a Badlands 4dr non-Sasquatch and absolutely love it…….headed to Big Bend in a couple of weeks and to ā€œuseā€ it like I’ve done...
