Need to load ProCal and make that high octane work for you.. Now, winter fuel maybe is a problem.. My 23mpg Big Bend is sucking fuel.. Oh, wait -8 ( got to warm up) and that heavy duty 4x4 you need on icy roads for last two months…. Got to love Alaska..
Do you have a picture of that JCR cover installed.. The 2.7 L kit attaches to firewall with hoses running in close.. I’ll get a picture of my installation tonight..
Ahhhh, sounds like a lubricant failure.. There’s 80w90 from the factory and only a quart of fluid.. 20000 miles grinding on the metal and heat and all breaks loose.. Just an educated guess..
The Badlands was shipped to Alaska without one.. The ones on my Big Bend were pad heaters “glued” to the pans..
Used that set up twice.. Vehicle originally was bought in Fairbanks, AK.. -40 area..
I checked with the dealer about upgrading manual seats to the power seats.. 💺 💺 and installation were about $6000. Now, that’s when they can get the seats.. Remember, production is always first.. 🤓
Most important thing is that your tires are aired up.. My BFGs are down 5 psi in the 10 to -10 temperatures.. Check again when you warms up significantly.. On-board air is helpful !
