  1. No V-6 Two Doors??

You people with 4-door Broncos make me laugh. What makes me laugh even more... a 4-door "Heritage" edition. I mean really! What were they thinking!
  2. Hyundai Boulder Concept debuts as Bronco fighter (not April Fool's joke)

Well, if it is designed and built in the USA -- then it just has to look and perform like an FJ40 for me to want one! Better MPG of course, though.
  3. Hyundai Boulder Concept debuts as Bronco fighter (not April Fool's joke)

Sorry... I buy American made when possible. It looks like a warmed-over (new) Landcruiser. How many more car-like SUVs do we need on the market? Now... if it looked like an old FJ40... that would have my attention.
  4. Sigh - I Know This Dance

I tend to agree... and am older. Although I wish I had the 360 stuff... I'm glad I own a late 2022 Base 2Dr. I don't seem to have any problems... with anything. I've had the hood sensor go off a couple of times for a few seconds, and maybe my rear camera went dark for 2 seconds 3 times in 3...
  5. Trailer light module

I just added a 4-pin tow module that connected into the standard lights on my 2-Door Base (without tow package), and a CURT trailer hitch. Basically, bypassing Ford (just like you would in 1975). You plug the wires into the standard tail lights (plug-n-play), and run a wire off the battery for...
  6. Best version of that what were you like in the 90’s dad,,, bronco edition

I had a red 95 Bronco. It was fun, big, and was lucky to get 12 miles per gallon. I think I sold mine for $6000 about 15 years ago with about 70K miles on it. I am glad I have my 2Dr Base with V6/auto. Even more fun. If you want to see the original OJ Bronco you can see it at the Alcatraz...
  7. Undercarriage Surface Rust

This is why I sent a used car from California out to Tennessee for my daughter. Kept looking on Carfax and 1/2 the cars were imported from NY, Penn, Ohio, or Illinois. Well worth the $1600 to ship it. A 2009 Toyota would have been a complete rust-bucket if it had been from NY, etc. (or WI...
  8. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

Yep. It would be nice if Ford would try and trace this problem down. The things Ford has that we do not... is the extra data of where & when these tops were built (that failed), what lines they were produced on, and what Broncos they were put on. For example... if you knew when a top was...
  9. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

You know... it does make you wonder why some folks (like me) have zero problems, and why some folks have had multiple tops. You wonder if some MIC tops were built in one factory servicing one part of the country, or on one line in that factory, or they're put on torqued wrong by Ford, or how...
  10. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

Hey Virus... looking at the weather reports today I was wondering if you can find your Bronco at all? (Glad I moved to NorCal)
  11. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

Sept. 2022 build Base 2022 White 2 Door with MIC top. About 16,000 miles on it. Always garaged here in Northern California. Been out in temps ranging from about 25 degrees to 110. No problems so-far. I even check on occasion with a black light. Top has never been off.
  12. How Much Did You Spend on Your Bronco Today?

    2022 2Dr V6/Auto. $ 300 for Clamber Running Boards. $ 160 for Curt trailer hitch and trailer hookup. $ 700 for OBX tires & rims (I have a Base) $ 320 for 4WP rear steel bumper - 400 (I sold steelies + tires) ---------------------------------------- $1080 total for accessories (16000 miles /...
  13. Newbie question about Transmission and Top.

I'll chime in with not having any MIC-top problems on my late 22 2-door. However, since some folks have had problems I'd go with the painted top now if I had the options... just for safety-sake.
  14. Ford charging 20k for a MIC hardtop outside 3/36k warranty

    1. Find a dlfferent Ford dealer. Sounds like the one you have likes to screw folks. 2. Publish who the dealer is. 2. Consider taking Ford dealership to small claims court.
  15. Is it reasonable to ask for and get 5% off MSRP on a '26 Big Bend on the dealer lot?

Rule #1 -- Never let the dealer know that this one is exactly what you want. In fact, act a bit disinterested in it. Look at others. I always wait for the question "what will it take for you to buy this one today" (especially at the end-of-month), and then I give them a figure they will most...
  16. Ford Axle Part Numbers

Brings me to a question that I've wondered about... does the Ranger have the same axle & FDU as the Bronco?
  17. Rear Deck Anchor bolt.....wait for it.....$127!!!!

Reminds me of a month or so ago when Ford wanted to charge me about $10 for each of those plastic retainer/screws that hold the trim pieces around the rear-door. I had stripped two of them. I said "no thanks" to the dealer and went and bought 50 online at Amazon for $10... you never know when...
  18. So Why isn't this 2 Door Badlands Selling?

Its real simple... unknown-accident * (out-of-warranty + orange + manual) = (very small market) I wouldn't touch it for over $25,000, and even then probably not. Think about it... a) If it were my first Bronco I'd want something with warranty and no damage. b) If it were my 2nd Bronco I...
  19. 6G Bronco got no soul.

Gee, I had a 96 Big Bronco with (I think) a 350 in it. 96 sounded nice, and it looked nice. 96 also only got 8-12 MPG depending on how heavy your foot was. 96 was also A LOT slower than my 6G V6/auto 2Dr. I'll stick with my 6G V6/auto 2Dr. I like fast, and I like 22-24 MPG... on the highway...
