  1. How much weight on tailgate before reinforcement is needed?

The BAMF tailgate reinforcement is pretty damn beefy. But also heavy. That's the tradeoff. Support with added weight.
  2. 7mt fluids. Swapped the Ford DCT fluid for Redline MT-LV

I'm in AZ myself, so it's not as cold, for not as long, compared to other parts of the country. Jan and Feb get some colder days, but not this year apparently.
  3. 7mt fluids. Swapped the Ford DCT fluid for Redline MT-LV

Good to know they sorted it out! The redline fluid certainly made a difference, but I guess in colder temps it will still happen, albeit less noticeable, and for less time. With the DCT fluid it would make noise for a while.
  4. 7mt fluids. Swapped the Ford DCT fluid for Redline MT-LV

Another update. Currently 49°F outside. Cold start noise is present, but less audible.
  5. ASS(less)

I totally get that. I was referring to the pinch welds that are on basically every car today. Just seems that only some 6G owners complain about them. I don't mind the idle stop actually. I was skeptical, due to having more experience with Honda's Idle stop, which is incredibly slow. But it's...
  6. ASS(less)

I find it silly that some 6G owners gripe about such insignificant things.
  7. ASS(less)

    How bout them pinch welds?
  8. 7mt fluids. Swapped the Ford DCT fluid for Redline MT-LV

It's B6G. I half expect it. It's not a problem! Just like to document results on my rig. Thanks for the info!
  9. Are Spacers Bad?

I have the Broncbuster 1.5" spacers on mine. Been fine for 3+ years now. Been wheeling, hit whoops on occasion. I have the Badlands so I'm pushing my suspension close to the edge, but no worse than any extended length shock. If you have the Hitachi shocks it may not be as bad, per day.
  10. 2.3 or a 2.7

No flappy paddles with the slushbox? That's a bummer. Even some CVT's have paddles. 🤔
  11. 2.3 or a 2.7

To get the proper transmission sir.

For example, Honda DI engines have carbon buildup that may sometimes cause issues. The Fit will misfire and run rough. We use a walnut blast on the intake valves to clean them. Some DI v6 engines get excessive carbon buildup in the throttle body, negatively affecting throttle response. I'm just...

Yeah that new 2.3 sounds like a mess, but should alleviate possible carbon issues with other DI engines.
  14. Messed with the 2026 Build & Price… man the colors are boring

Mojito is an awesome color. It is a shame that we've lost so many colors. HPR was one of my favorites.

Already tearing it down? How many miles? I'm curious about the carbon buildup around 30k, at least on intake valves and throttle body.
  16. 7mt fluids. Swapped the Ford DCT fluid for Redline MT-LV

2nd day. Ambient temp 55°F currently, maybe 51-53°F during cold start. No noise in neutral.
  17. 7mt fluids. Swapped the Ford DCT fluid for Redline MT-LV

It's been unusually warm this winter. Been hitting 80's during the day. Usually we get some freezing temps and lower highs, but not this winter apparently.
