Are the fender vents removable or are they part of the fender? If the latter then the CF piece would just be an overlay? Does anyone make CF mirror caps?

They should apply this same philosophy and have someone else make their tune so they can finally release it under Ford Performance. That’s worth more to me than these worthless CF bits and factory painted fenders that have zero performance function. Albeit, I do kind of like the carbon fender...

That’s a BS reason. There are plenty of Braptors out there. Regardless, this is economies 101. You increase the price of the tune for it to make sense. We will still buy it.

I was initially under impression that staying at Red Rock would get us a shuttle to the event, but that’s not the case. It’s only about 30 min from Red Rock Hotel. However reception stinks at the event and if you Uber it may be tough getting a ride back. I rented a car for $60 from the hotel...

Not to burst any bubbles but when I was at the Off-Rodeo event, I confirmed that the plate has nothing to do with any power upgrades. In fact all the Raptors had numbered plates and all ending in X77. This just happened to be total coincidence.

By the way, one observation I made on every truck there. When you off-road this thing, the car flexes…a lot. The painted polyurethane strip at the bottom of the front grill flexes enough to make contact with the head of the bolt on top on the front bumper. On every single truck. Probably a good...

They are planning to offer more as well as level 2 events for those who already went. I would not mind some Baja runs in the snow 😁

When you register in the morning you can opt and pay for in-car V-box (video) and photos. You can also bring your own “GoPro”. But get there early if you want the video. Only 4 of the cars were equipped with in-car video for us.

My in-car video was too large to upload (I’ll link it to my YouTube later) but here’s me jumping the Braptor. This photo alone was worth the trip and this wasn’t even the best part of the day!

I bought these a month ago. Tried to install one in the rear cargo area but couldn’t find an easy way to remove the OE unit. I didn’t spend too much time on it honestly but if someone finds an effective way to take the OE lights out without damaging anything would love to hear it.
