Great story and man I’m sure I’m not the only one to cringe seeing those new painted fenders take a beating! Question: is this normal for the inner wheel to be misaligned with the outer ring? Notice the spokes don’t line up. Does the ring float on the wheel? I’ve never seen this before.

Outsourced to China but retail pricing remains the same. I’ll pass and wait for prices to drop - just give us our damn tune and let me get on with my life 😛

Like I said the tune has been done for some time. The waiting game is all for CARB. They won’t release something OE that’s not CARB approved. They should do a special promo price for us for waiting 😀

For many purposes incl manufacturing, internally they use “Warthog” to mean Bronco Raptor as opposed to F-150 Raptor. Warthog kit would have 5 rings vs 4. There are many parts on the Braptor that have molded part numbers that say Warthog.

Thanks. Looks like they’re just outsourcing the coating of the OE rings to Albar. Curious then how do you replace a ring after an accident or warranty? Has to be some internal part.

Did the box with the orange ones have a part number on it? Also, do they come with an extra set of hardware or are you just expected to re-use the ones on the current rings?

FP tune should be out in a couple months and I can only assume there’s no urgency in having to act now. By then you’ll be able to see all offerings, but warranty and CARB are huge factors for me which leaves only one real option.

Interesting build. Way too much going on there especially with the graphics and the orange seems out of place. Maybe the rings will help tie it all in but hard pass for me.
