  1. Just lost acceleration and the. Shut down

It's not a car, nor truck ( open bed), nor current definition SUV (transverse engine no low range, unibody) It's a Bronco, like a Jeep is a Jeep.
  2. Recall 26S32: 2021-2022 Model Year Broncos MIC Hard Top Roof Panel Delamination [May 15, 2026]

I have a July '21 build that hit dirt mountain, deliver 11=26-21. Sticker in MIC say 'primer allied October xx 2021. One color mismatched panel, very slight snakeskin, no cracks, no delamination and mostly garaged. I'll bet recall ends up being an inspection with pretty restrictive...
  3. Parking Brake sets automatically

Say it ain't so! My Explorer does it and I don't care for it but live with it. With the dial shifter it's easy to go past Reverse and hit Park when your in a hurry, like in a parking lot when someone is backing into you., The brake sets, you select Reverse and it goes nowhere until you gas it...
  4. Custom HI-LIFT mount with TOR tailgate (WIP)

Note: I did go to a 42" jack to avoid blocking lights, I used a 48 for a while but it kinda gets into lights
  5. Broken mounting bolt on coilover

Mine have never loosened, I used to check once in a while. I forgot to tighten the upper bolts when installing, and yeah you will hear it!
  6. Custom HI-LIFT mount with TOR tailgate (WIP)

I like your set up, more subtle, mine looks kinda poser especially with a new jack, but I'll keep it because yours looks too hard to construct, but you already got it! I used Amazon rollbar mounts, attached to the light mount on the bull bar with 5/16" bolts and nuts Amazon.com: YESHMA...
  7. Broken mounting bolt on coilover

By the time the bolt loosens up enough to fall out it will be making enough noise to wake the dead. Mine came with my Bilstein 5100s and had nylok nuts
  8. Custom HI-LIFT mount with TOR tailgate (WIP)

Nice work. I did a similar mount on the spare tire mount of my old BIIs Love getting old, I stumbled on this thread and was enjoying it when I saw my 'likes' and realized it was de ja vu all over again. The other thing about getting old is my adventures have calmed down, and although I carry...
  9. Broken mounting bolt on coilover

And, I inserted the bolt from the bottom, nut side up, to improve clearance and avoid damage to the threads/nut.
  10. please show me your recovery kits and bags.

Shackles, strap, shovel, saw, tire chains, jumper box, tools, winch, handyman jack
  11. If You Could Go Back Before Buying Your Bronco, What Would You Do Differently?

I might have ordered a BD and added cloth seat covers instead of a BB to get the tires, rails, skids and bumpers without going aftermarket...but what would be the fun in that. I like my BB wheels, but the optional Black aluminum BDs have grown on me. And if I knew it was coming and I could...
  12. Dollhouse round #2, redemption

The old Marina Store, the lake has dropped too low to get there via water anymore so no need for the marina
  13. Old Bronco vs New Bronco — what did each era get right? 😂

I think sales would be lower but performance better
  14. Dollhouse round #2, redemption

Yep, Hite is not an option anymore. On our trip "back in the day" we arrived late and had to camp there and wait for the gas station to open in the AM (no pay at the pump then). My Bronco gets a pretty consistent 20 mpg mixed driving, probably 15 or less on that route, so it would be close...
  15. Old Bronco vs New Bronco — what did each era get right? 😂

The OG was definitely a step above the Jeep and Scout on civility in 1966. It actually lagged behind the Jeep Wagoneer, but that gets overlooked. The Broncos original 6 popper was almost OK and better than the Jeep and Scout 4s but behind the Wagoneer with the V-8 again. The OGs ground...
  16. What does your perfect off-road trip look like?

This, new country, new road, 100 miles of dirt and not another 4 wheeled vehicle. (Did se 2 motorbikes)
  17. Questions about the “shifting button”

I think it's a case of being too smart by half. Somebody thought it was a good idea
  18. Two door LWB??

I had one and it was pretty close to just right, 104" WB I think. Bronco's 100 ain't bad but if I were the designer I would have added 2 to 3" rear overhang, more cargo room and better visual balance for a little departure angle loss.
