I agree. Disconnect your battery and see if that is a fix. I had a screen go bad on my Explorer at 29k miles. Hopefully it just needs to be reset.

I've only got 100 miles on my Dirt Mountain Bronco currently but I'll be on the lookout for similar signs.

These tires on the Bronco are 20k mile tires. I've heard that 5k miles in and 1/4 tread already gone. I suspect Ford knew this also 39psi for a c load mt tire has me questioning the choices made.

Glad the Party involved is ok. Also, now that I see the Hero Switch console just pop out makes me wonder how much access there is underneath it to the head unit and under the dash...It would be cool if you didn't have to take the whole dash apart to get to the head unit for like adding an amp.

What would have been better from Mr. Levine would be that Ford is working on a fix with dealers to prevent this from happening in the future

Yeah I don't plan on ever needing to use them as sliders but zroadz does say they are beefy and can take some hits. I need a step more than a slider for the wife and chillins.

Side note. I ordered the Zroadz steps because they don't sit as low as the factory steps and cover the pinch weld unlike the factory ones.
