Honestly there aren't enough Broncos out roaming in the wild yet to call it a definitive issue.
My brand new Explorer with 800 miles on it grenaded it's transmission. My New Explorer they traded me after that now has 45k miles in 2 years and works like a charm.
If you want to save on fuel than just taking off 100lbs of sprung weight won't net you much.
Your best bet would be to reduce your rotational weight. That would be best if you are only worried about fuel savings and can also make it feel more peppy.
At this point I think Ford should just embrace the dirt mountain reality and send our Broncos with a custom survivor patch.
Also in that poll that lists who will be last off the hill.
I vote that @Tricky Dick will get a Christmas Eve email stating Hans Gruber fell from the Nakatomi tower and...
I just received a generic Bronco email. I was hoping for more info but Ill take what I can get at this point I guess. Still no ETA as to when my Bronco will leave Dirt Mountain.
We have definitely been shafted in this whole situation. First it was a hard top then air bag and I also heard some lower front windshield cowls had issues as well. The damn thing may never get released if they keep adding recalls while others are built and delivered in almost the same month...
The tracker works again. My build still says in production since it got built in August 8th. Contacted my dealer and still says pending update. Contacted Bronco support again as they said there is 2 open cases and no information has returned from MAP.
If I did this bad at work I would have...
I've had an escalated case since November 6th. They said a supervisor was going to call me and never did. Had another case created a week ago with no response and I feel they took the trackers down so people couldn't see how far behind they really are.
I don't really agree on the 1 for 1. If you originally put in 7 qt but when you go in to change and get 6.25 out your going to put 6.25 back in? What if that was burn off or loss as we all know most modern engines eat oil nowadays.
They have yet to follow through with 1 thing I have been told from Ford for the last 511 days why would I start believing that they can actually deliver my Bronco before the end of year.
