Yeah, if Iām at a pump where the price difference between grades is negligible Iāll go with a higher grade. If the difference is enough to cancel out any mpg increase Iāll stick with regular.

Until itās deep enough that youāre floating on the floor boards, good snow tires and finesse on the pedals/steering wheel will do more for you in the snow than anything else.
Take heart, It was still green toward the bottom of the Piedmont heading down 26 the other day. I know itās not the parkway but you probably still have some time to catch a good cruise or two on the roads down that way this year.
