Yeah, if I’m at a pump where the price difference between grades is negligible I’ll go with a higher grade. If the difference is enough to cancel out any mpg increase I’ll stick with regular.

Why not just get the fenders from ADV Fiberglass? They look more retro than anything Ford is offering, even on the heritage editions.

Until it’s deep enough that you’re floating on the floor boards, good snow tires and finesse on the pedals/steering wheel will do more for you in the snow than anything else.

Take heart, It was still green toward the bottom of the Piedmont heading down 26 the other day. I know it’s not the parkway but you probably still have some time to catch a good cruise or two on the roads down that way this year.

All the reviews I read said they were good all around and wore well. Two of the guys at my local shop run them and love them. When you say “Those look like...” was it the same tire? Or just some OEM special? Time will tell I guess but they’ve been great so far.
