  1. 2020 Ford Bronco Concept Rendering

I do love how you just say random things all the time that are totally, definitely not in any way related to what we're talking about or giving us any insight :)
  2. 2020 Ford Bronco Concept Rendering

Summer doesn't technically start until the 20th of June, so they wouldn't be lying if the reveal is at NAIAS. Hopefully we get some teasers and details throughout the beginning of the year leading up to the actual reveal if it's going to be that late.
  3. Ford Endeavor

That hood is...not great. I assume this is at a tuner company's booth? Lots of aftermarket bits on it?
  4. [Unofficial] Production Bronco Renders based on Bronco R

Check the '2020 Ford Bronco Concept Rendering' sticky thread. This was the latest revision:
  5. JLR Buys Bowler

  6. The IFS vs SFA Thread

    Now you're talking my language!
  7. The IFS vs SFA Thread

The competitions I run are generally 5-600km or so per day, involving going straight from one competition stage to a transit on highways to another competition stage with no breaks except for gas. There's no trailering possible except to the very start of the event if you wanted, and the rules...
  8. What size tire do you hope to run?

I chose 33" but only because I think that will be a stock option. If it only comes with 31-32s I'll likely run those. I wouldn't want anything bigger than 33, the tradeoff in unsprung weight isn't worth it for my purposes, but as others have mentioned, it seems like a good middle ground. Plus...
  9. Bronco R Concept Sketches!

I wonder if this might be a better idea of what the production taillights will look like - similar shape to the R but with the red outside section.
  10. What size tire do you hope to run?

Wasn't one of the rumors that there are supposed to be 33" tires at least optional? If so, that'll be what I run.
  11. The IFS vs SFA Thread

I'm really trying to figure out where you're getting this impression of me from. The 'coolest' thing doesn't matter to me. I want the vehicle I want, I have a very defined list of desires. If Ford makes it, they can make any other vehicle they want for all I care. I don't know how I can say...
  12. The IFS vs SFA Thread

Whoa, hey now. We seem to have moved from talking about facts and opinions to making statements about me personally. I've said in more than one place on the forum I'd be totally fine with a 2.7 or 3.0. I've also said I don't care about the removable roof and would never use it anyways. Give me a...
  13. The IFS vs SFA Thread

Yeah, like a 2 door version, or a removable roof! Good thing the Bronco can have those regardless of front suspension architecture. Also, the IFS 4Runner is still here and selling stronger than ever. The wrangler admittedly sells better, but it's around 50% more, and it has a much lower entry...
  14. Lets talk about the tail lights on the Bronco R

In the closeups I think you can tell that those are LED light pods set into that housing. I agree with everyone else that it's set up this way for protection and wouldn't be street legal. The shape of the housing is probably representative of what the production one will be, but not the design.
  15. The IFS vs SFA Thread

What's new is that the market loves any off roader right now. And like Randy92Fox mentioned, the used values on all of those old competitors are very strong, so there's demand for that type of vehicle. Yeah, totally. I have and continue to freely admit that I'm in the minority among the...
  16. The IFS vs SFA Thread

Yep, totally. And this discussion has happened elsewhere on the forum already. The other vehicles you mentioned above were definitely in the same niche, though they had no removable roof (something I don't really care about, but others do and it helps with the image), and no 2 door swb version...
  17. Dodge Shipping Guards are Weak!!!

When can we get them in purple?
  18. The IFS vs SFA Thread

Perfect :fingerscrossed:. Give me that with good styling, 2.7 or 3.0 and a manual trans and I'm in. And preferably with a Torsen front diff too, they already have that in their other off-roady vehicles. That seems like a recipe that will have a lot of appeal to people, except those who want to...
  19. Bronco R in action, BAJA 1000

I would personally expect them to continue to develop the R at least for another year. They really need to go back with an improved version of the same vehicle to make up for this year. Maybe they'll run some other Baja events other than the 1000 as well. Perhaps after the Bronco is released we...
  20. Bronco R in action, BAJA 1000

Interesting article: https://automotivemap.com/ford-bronco-baja-breakdown-2019-2641499940.html It really highlights that they didn't have much testing time for this thing and were troubleshooting issues right up to the deadline. Hopefully they can sort it out for next time. This part made me...
